The reason Buffett likes the business is the credit card operation. Almost everybody in Utah has a R.C. Willey card and pays interest to them.
RC Willey is the biggest lender in the state and ruthlessly enforce their credit loans. I had a $300 credit when I became disabled in the early 90's and tried to set up a different pay back schedule. They wouldn't hear of it. That $300 became $1500 when they sued me for it.
I hope Mr. Childs feels good about the dark side of what he started.
You agreed to the terms. Is it his fault you didn't live up to you end of the bargain? You were not bad mouthing his good name when he did his part and loaned you the money. Grow up!
