thanks for keeping the pitch classy Nick Takas
Good article. Mr. Takas does a great job; the field is always beautiful.
Nick for taking care of our wonderful field in the beautiful stadium.
Hey soccer fans, are you frustrated that nobody in America cares about soccer yet? Here are some slogans that might help:
"Soccer, a simple game for simple minded folk."
"Soccer, the only thing in America more boring than a trip to the DMV!"
"Soccer, you gotta smell it baby!"
The good work of this man gives hope to thousands of people every week. During these tough economic times, he has managed to make their world a little brighter.
Nice try, troll.
One of if not the best soccer field in the country.

Lulz, you seem awful frustrated that people do! :-D Bet it just gnaws at your gut that there's a stadium for it. bet it eats you up inside to see the paper report on it.
Well, by commenting, you just made a soccer article even more popular, assuring that there will be more in the future. So thanks for all your support!
At the last RSL home game my wife and I got a close up look at the grass on the field and noticed how well kept it really is. It's nicer than a putting green!
Great job, Nick! Keep up the good work!
Soccer is unequivocally the most popular sport in the world. With that said, troll, keep in mind that on any given Jazz night, the soccer stadium holds and attracts more people. For the Bees, a measly 5,500 people show up for one game, leaving that beautiful ball park naked and empty. And the Grizz... oh please! What other sport in Utah will attract more people other than soccer, troll?
"Soccer slogans"
The ironic thing about your claim that it's a game for simple minded folk is that it's just the opposite. It actually takes more than average intelligence and attention span to understand an appreciate Soccer. Since it appears like a simple sport on the surface, real simpletons assume it's for simpletons. You just exposed yourself to all who understand this great sport that you are a no nothing, a blockhead, as it were.
Are you serious F.? Have you never heard of Rice Eckles Stadium or Lavell Edwards Stadium? Go there on some Saturday in the fall and see what a real crowd is, TROLL.
Love the field, Nick, and love your column, Cathy! Both of you keep up the good work!
The name of the sport is football, people. Don't call it the same name Jim Rome calls it. If you do, you're bowing down to Jim Rome and all other football haters.
Mr. Takas, you're not the only one that cringes at the thought of monster trucks crawling all over that beautiful pitch!
It really is a work of art. Thanks, Mr. Takas and the rest of the crew!
