I have a friend who always posts on these threads as Anonymous. He spends alot of time in his motorized chair. He suffers greatly from constipation and incontinence, probably from sitting and lack of excercise. We have constantly tried to get him to consider therapy, thinking that it could at least help if not remediate the problem He finally did go to therapy the other day and the reults are amazing. I think everyone who reads this article and suffers from these types of problems would do themselves a great favor and improve quality of life by recieving help for something that could previously only helped temporarily.
What a great article to help people concerning a subject that they may not want to talk about with family, etc. Physical Therapy is extremely beneficial in improving so many of people regular activities.
