Provo laid an egg passing this one.

Chicken

Well, this is very interesting.

The Mayor should also consider why families want to keep chickens.

Keeping chickens for a pet or for slaughter and food should be seriously considered by the Mayor.

Chickens are nuisances and loud.
How many chickens can a family own?

There are also chicken germs to consider.
There germs are very difficult to get rid-of.
This should be a serious health issue to consider.

Chickens also wonder anywhere when out of the cage, thus, they can enter into busy streets.

They have no sense of communication.
At least dogs bark and cats purring and meowing, but chickens have no distinct sound of communication.

Chickens belong on farmers with the rest of the farm animals and not in cities. There will be more mistreatments of chickens in cities; therefore, chickens in city neighborhoods should not be allowed and permitted.

Re: Chicken

All good points -- be sure the Mayor hears them before he signs anything!

wow

We had chickens in town, in a city called American Fork. Chopped their heads off once a year too. What a circus that was!!!

Let the chickens in please. Kids needs to know how the world really works.
