yummy, but who has TIME to do this? I don't. Totally unrealistic for a mom with young kids, or a mother working outside the home. Unless you enjoy ignoring your kids to death. And those are the ones who need cheap cooking recipes the most!!!!!!!!!

Glad they corrected the recipe online, the news paper says "paper owl" and instead of 165 degrees it says 15. I'm just hoping there isn't anyone stupid enough to follow the 15 degrees, besides the fact that the chicken would be frozen, it could kill someone. Here's hoping no one is that stupid.

I get annoyed whenever there's a recipe and people whine that it's "unrealistic." In reading over the burger recipe and the Ginger Chicken Thighs, it sounds like it doesn't take any more time to put them together than regular hamburgers or even Hamburger Helper. Surely your kids don't need your undivided attention 24/7?
You probably are already going to the grocery store once a week, so you can pick up the hoisin sauce or lemon grass and whatever, they're usually somewhere near the ramen anyway.
What I think is unrealistic is parents who rely on Happy Meals and frozen dinners because they "don't have enough time" to fix their kids decent, healthy food, and then wonder why they end up obese. Kind of sad.

Ahem, Mollie. Chile is the proper spelling for hot peppers like jalapenos, poblanos, etc. If you don't believe it, look on the can of Old El Paso Diced Green Chiles sitting in your cupboard. Or try ordering chile relleno from a restaurant menu or buying Hatch green chiles at yoru grocery store.
'Chili' is a bowl of hot stew that usually contains chiles.

She is Vietnamese, not Chinese.

I'm wondering what the point is with her being Vietnamese. Did the article say that she was Chinese, I looked through it but couldn't find this statement. . Or does this mean she sholdn't make up a recipe and use Chinese in the name of it if she's Vietnamese? If that's the case, I wouldn't be able to make my Italian Marinara sauce, or Mexican casserole. I think it's great to borrow from lots of ethnic foods, whatever you call the name of the recipe.
