Congrats to all and a giant thank You to Mr. Gates for all he has done for Kearns and all that he wants to do in the future. The feild is amazingly beutiful. It would make any ball players dreams to play on a feild like that.
If the Kearns field is for the youth of Kearns can someone please tell us why as soon as the high school season is over the Kearns Kids cant even step on the field it gets used by the highest bidding tournaments. Dont get me wrong the field is one of the best and is kept very groomed and beautiful but its a sore spot with the community because they cant even use it other than High school games which 1/3 of them get rained out anyway. We appriciate the field and the money but keep your word let the youth and the community use it..ie Babe Ruth tournaments, summer league games (legion games), ect. If you wanted a look at me place you got it and when your gone we will enjoy what you left and keep it just as beautful. =(
OH PLEASE Kearns citizen
Before you start complaining about things get your facts straight. The legion has played on this field, Gun's n Hose's was played here, Kearns Alam was played here and the pro game is played on this field. If you want to play on go through the right channels and until then shut up, and stop spouting off about things you know very little about.
I was a player for Kearns for four years. We played every game on that field. we practiced on that field every day through the season and legion. I think we only got rained out one or two times in three years. Nothing compares to it. Thanks Mr. Gates!!
