Lost Vote

Unbelievable! People are losing their jobs, the country is in a recession, and you ask others to give up their pay to double yours? You have damaged the democrats (I'm a democrat) by your selfish request- you knew the pay, should have known the commitment when you ran for office.

You just lost 3 votes in my family (and probably a lot more!

Hatch too!

You lost my vote too!

Hey Horiuchi: Get a job in the private sector.

Unbelievable

You represent everything that is wrong with political office. The hallmark of your political office has been the old cashing in procedure. Your proposal doesnt represent the people who voted for you and to the contrary represents Randy, Randy, Randy. Quite frankly were all tired of this sort of political smoke and mirrors. If youre in it only for the pay then get out!

Discusting!

So typical of our County leaders. Lay off Protective service Officers who actually are in the comunity SERVING the public, cut the budgets of Law Enforcement who protect the public and give yourself a raise.

Salt Lake County employees have picked up more work for the budget cuts, wage freezes and our 401k retirement and you have the qual to ask for a pay raise. Do what the employees of Salt Lake County are doing. Picking up the slack of positions that can't be filled due to funding so we make it fit into to our already over worked day. We don't get raises or contrabutions to our retirment. And you want a raise. You lost my vote and respect. Do your part to help the situtaion don't dig us a bigger hole.

Irritation

To have even considered such a huge increase is unbelievable. Reminds me of a former CEO of a company that I worked for that froze everyone's salary for TWO YEARS and in that time doubled his own. This is really irritating. Sounds like Horiuchi wants a full time job. Big government here we come.
