In other words "Midvale has joined with WVC, SLC, etc. in being a sanctuary city".

Taco carts are just another way of harboring and/or encouraging illegals. Normal business laws don't apply to illegals, just like they IGNORE ALL laws. Midvale residents SHOULD let their elected leaders know how they feel!

BTW - how often are the carts inspected by the Health Dept?

Challenge: If you ARE tempted to buy something from one of these vendors, ask to see his/her health inspection records. I'll bet they can't produce them!

Just like police depts., Health inspectors probably leave the illegals alone!

Socialists! Come on, let the "free market" decide what's best! Or does that only apply to rich, white, fat cat, wall street bankers??? Hmmm???

I agree with WREX. Does it really bring the community down. It's like the WRAPS you bye at MickyDees, are they really WRAPS or are they burrito's. Is it easier for White People to eat something that doesn't sound ethnic? I just don't understand, with the way the economy of this country has gone down the sink, it's nice to know that public officials find real problems to deal with.

I think these filthy carts are a health risk and a eye sore and they all should be banned.

If you want a "Free Market" then you must live with the consequences -- the ups AND the downs, you can't have it both ways.

Do any have food handler permits? They are required by law to serve food.

Taco carts are not a problem for me. I prefer steak and eggs.

I think if we are going to allow carts and make things more convient, perhaps we should have "to go"
carts where the owners are immediately ready to deliver as soon as a car drives to the side of the street. Perhaps the cart owners could use special bags to just "throw" the food through the open car window. I think its all about ease and efficency.

register with the health department and they tecnically need food handlers permits. But I bet most of them don't. The gross thing is that if you think that very many people in traditional resturant have food handlers permits your out of your mind.
