nobody really watches these shows do they? Well I have seen Idol a few times but these others, please tell me you don't spend time watching these things.

This is whats wrong with our society; we worry more about idol and survivor than about Islamic terrorism, or the government destroying the future of our children. Kind of reminds me of ancient Rome. Too bad history isn't taught in our schools or economics or political truths. But I guess our kids will all be OK since they will have ipods.wis, and computers and heads full of mush!

Utah losers

Utahns aren't worldy, cultured or savvy enough to compete and win in any kind of contest where there are people from other places involved.

Please tell me you don'tread the drivel in the newspapers about these shows, that's about as low as it gets.

I didn't even know "Survivor" was still on? This is bad. Very bad.

Notice the trend

when these utahns get voted off these shows they have really weird behavior. Well, that's because they are weird. It must be in the water or something, or maybe it's the holier than thous LDS status that lingers in their personal lives as well. Whateve the case the mass majority of people in Utah are pretty weird. I haven't even touched upon how different utah mormons and that whole clash of fitting in and then trying to be different to excape sterotypes. OH UTAH! LOL

Drama Rulz!

the folks who put the clips together for the reality show actually tell a story about each contestant. the whole deal with how one comes across on camera and in reality is entirely up to the clips they choose to show. In fact this was even mentioned last season in the final episode by the host and the contestants who'd had a chance to see how they were portrayed. The point is any behavior that even slightly deviates from being stoic is going to get shown. All the times you were patient or handled a situation well... well, who cares about that? I mean who wants to watch a show where people sit an have polite conversations and calmly say things like, "Oh, Fiddle-dee-dee, that will require a tetanus shot."

Per the Nielsen TV ratings "Survivor" was #12 last week in viewers.
