Wow. Amazing that comment made it through when it is ridiculously off topic.
The other day I got to listen to the game on the radio and hear Hot Rod and it
reminded me just how good he was. He is the Jazz when it comes to hearing the
games, won't be the same without him.
Rush L. knows all, tells all. He would be a great replacement!
The memory burned in my mind of Hot Rod.There was discussion about
banning beer advertisements in the delta center.Hot Rod weighed in
on this by saying, if they do this, if they do this it will definately stop me
from drinking beer.I thought it was kind of funny at the time.
I will miss H.R. Hundley, especially when he used to say, "Shut up, Booner!"
I left Utah many years ago but have fond memories of watching Jazz games with
Hot Rod. He was always entertaining while realizing the game itself was the
star. He will certainly be missed. I now live in Arizona and know he will enjoy
the winters down here.
Hot Rod deserves a spot in the Hall of Fame.I know, I know, he was
honored by the Hall of Fame, which game him the Curt Gowdy award a few years
ago. That is a well-deserved honor, but he also deserves enshrinement in the
Nice. Hod Rod deserves all the praise he gets. Now it looks like this one's in
the old refrigerator. I wish him well in the future.
