His sentence is 6 to life? His lawyer must have been in good with the judge.

Why on earth would this guy think any of that stuff is worth anything?!
THEeyepatch | 4:47 p.m. April 27, 2009

not that bad | 5:22 p.m. April 27, 2009
I think if people buy it they should not make it illegal. I am sorry that we have sick people but I do not think making a profit off a crime is that bad. I mean lawyers do it. What about all the people that do book deals? I think people are little hypocritical to be offended by this.
Re: not that bad | 5:49 p.m. April 27, 2009
I have a hard time believing you truly believe you don't care about this. If the shoe was on the other foot and someone had murdered your daughter who was pregnant and was then trying to make money off of it can you honestly tell me you wouldn't care? If that is truly so, then I lament your heartless soul. I, for one, DO care that writers or movie producers are able to profit off of these terrible stories, but they do it by justification: they say "based on actual events" and never SPECIFICALLY state names or things of that nature. I am almost sickened to think that anyone would buy anything specifically used by or endorsed by Mark Hacking. In my biased judgement, jail time is too soft for the heinous act he committed.
Disgusting | 11:24 p.m. April 27, 2009
He is a truly disgusting individual.
Don't the monitor his mail? | 5:01 a.m. April 28, 2009
I understood that all correspondence in prison was monitored. Just refuse to send out this kind of tripe.
NOT THAT BAD?!?!?!?! | 7:42 a.m. April 28, 2009
Are you serious? You must be one of those people that try to get a reaction on message boards. Lawyers don't make a profit from any crimes that they commit. Neither do the victims who have book deals. The law is to prevent people from committing horrible crimes so that they can make money off of it in addition to getting the attention that they obviously want. I don't agree with selling your stories and I could never be a defense attorney but they are not doing anything wrong. They didn't instigate the events that happened. Someone has to represent these creeps so that they get their constitutional right to a fair trial.
wow | 8:09 a.m. April 28, 2009

Sera_Smiles | 1:16 p.m. April 30, 2009
who would want those things? Buying moustache hair is weird enough but from a killer? Whatever turns you on, I guess but I think it is pretty repulsive...
a non judgemental friend | 7:50 p.m. May 26, 2009
Everybody has an opinion. Mark is NOT evil even if his actions were. If you knew him you would know that he has zero interest in 'benefitting' from his awful decision.
To those he knows who have relevant emotions regarding this the truth is understood.
Why is nobody concerned about the individual who contacted Mark under false pretenses specifically for the purpose of exploitation? I think that is not so respectable myself! If somebody is so desperae for a dollar or for some attention then they should look to improve themselves not find satisfaction in making another look worse than they. How sad this world really is!

To a non judgemental friend:

Yes, this world really is sad when people say a person who murdered his wife and unborn child is not evil.
