How does Gov. Curt Bramble sound to you?

Scary! Regressive!
I hope Huntsman runs again. Our state is in good economical condition because he is a good businessman- and he is liked by most in the most populated county in Utah, SLC -because he demonstrates tolerance, I don't see a super conservative winning SLC - ever. I think SLC has enough voters to keep it moderate.

Huntsman would not have gone unchallenged (by a legitimate foe) in the 2008 GOP convention if not for Herbert.

Gary helped solidify the GOP base in the State Convention such that Huntsman was the clear winner. Huntsman may be a competent general, but he doesn't even get the chance to do so without his able and beloved lieutenant.

The 2012 race is a 'delegate-race' - and does anyone even wonder where the GOP delegates are? They're with Gary.

On Saturday, Huntsman was on the agenda for a meeting next room to the Salt Lake County GOP Convention. He didn't even walk next to the next room to say hi, or if he did, no one saw him.

He has obviously has given up running in 2012 for Utah Gov. That leaves Huntsman running for US President or Vice President.

I served on an advisory board chaired by Gary Herbert a couple of years ago. When he became chair, I was concerned because I had heard that he could be overbearing. Nothing could have been further from the truth. He is one the most compassionate individuals with whom I ever had the pleasure to work. Is he conservative..yes. However, he was very appropriate in his role of supporting the Governor. The bottom line is that, above all, I learned that he is a good man who will have my support in whatever direction he chooses to go.

I honestly couldn't think of a better candidate for Governor then Gary Herbert. I've heard him speak on several ocasions and I am continually impressed. I think he's right on.
