AK play as you use to

it's only obvious that jazz have to and need to build this team around deron williams. there have been a few games this season where he knows dang good and well that he's needed to take over yet he's tried to get everyone else involved, which is ok but those ARE some of the games that they've lost. there are a few good teams in nba right now who just have that leadership ability in a certain player and utah HAS that in deron williams and their front office is for some reason blind sided by it and doesn't know what to do with it. build the team around deron williams this offseason and if no one likes that idea then they can just play for some other nba team. deron williams IS the utah jazz even though everyone thinks that jerry sloan actually is, HA! if sloan is the utah jazz then have him suit up and play for them.

So Sad When...

The 50 year old Dikembe Mutombo can play better defense then both of our big man! You know then the team is in serious trouble.

It was amazing watching Dikembe play defense tonight... its also amazing watching Boozer and Okur play defense... the difference is I don't laugh at the 50 year old's game.

As much it hurts my Jazz will get be swept, this team has too many pathetic players: Boozer, Okur, AK, and Knight.

Deron is the player other teams fear but Harpring is the one who knocks them on their butts.

pass or shoot?

The reason the Jazz record is better when DWill gets 10 assists than when he scores 30 is that he looks to score when everyone else is tossing up bricks. That usually means the jazz have already spotted the other team a double-digit lead.

Ram it down their throats D-Will! We're going to need you to carry the load. We're sorry as fans for you that you're going to have to do that, but its true. Memos aching and Booz is already on vacation. You're our guy and we need you to take the series over. For the rest of the team: let's step up fellas! The Lakers are no better than you!
Let's go Jazz!

The problem is ...

...he's the only Jazz player other teams fear. If Boozer et al would step it up, things might be different. If the Jazz don't get swept in four, it will be because of D-Will.

too bad miles can`t catch

what d-will has...a want/need/resolve to win,miles is a nothing,waste of good oxygen

TRADE DWILL

TRADE DWILL FOR STEVE BLAKE

Joe Bangkok

Jazz player must be patien to take a shot. Ak need to focus on defend and let Brewer and Misap get the scores. Go Jazz I need you show your intention and fight for your fan.

re:steve blake

ya--that is a genius move. Blake got worked last night by Aron Brooks of Houston. Little 165lb Brooks.

Go Jazzboys! Shock the world....prove everybody wrong! Get it together and make it happen! I'm cheering (and getting nervous) already (10:40AM). Use all of this past negative fan(?)energy to your advantage as motivation and spit in their faces. They'll be back on your bandwagon when you win.

D-Will's gonna need a lot of help today. Can't do it by himself. He's not Kobe or Michael yet. (Not sure if he'll actually get that far in his career, anyway.)

D-Will has the ability to put up Stocktonest numbers during his career. To do so will take the right people around him---shooters that can be counted on day in and day out. This team doesn't have that in quantity yet.

The biggest "miss" D-Will will have today is missing Okur, because even if he plays, Memo won't be his dependable shooting self.

If D-Will can get 20 assists and 15 points, the Jazz will win. With the way the team has been doing lately, it'll likely be 30 points and 10 assists and a loss.

Prove'm wrong, D-Will.

D will is the franchise. I hope Koc makes some good moves this summer, or d will will is gone, maybe sooner than later. He may demand a trade out of town. Please open your wallet Greg m.

ONE focus: team D energy

makes the spin doctors spin out
shuts the haters out

that's where amazing happens!

re: jazzman72

I fear the same thing.
If the management doesn't stop this used car franchise mentality and do what it takes to win, Dwill is gone. And who could blame him?

I find it odd some people here think folks like myself "are off the bandwagon" because I'm being critical of the staff. More lame arguments from the Sloan lovers or employees of the organization? . . . I levy criticism where it is due because the team CAN DO BETTER. Keep your heads in the sand if you want, but I won't.

HGH

Saw it coming

Who didn't see this late season slide coming when they looked at the schedule?
Boozer is dead weight and needs to go. I wish we could get a few other players with a desire to win and the ability to do so.

todd to hugh

you would think after Trevor hit 2 "3s" someone would stay on him...Collins has done a ton has he not?

This is ONE matchup the Jazz have the edge on: the point guard. That's it. Kobe is owning Brewer whenever he wants to, Bynum is better than (insert center here), Gasol is WAAAAY better than Boozer, Ariza is doing what CJ/Korver can't (making shots). We'll all look back and say "If only we hadn't slid late and gotten the 8 seed." Why? You want to put off til later getting creamed? Everyone in the West has grown over the last couple of years, except the Jazz. Any growth has been solely from Williams, and some from Brewer and Milsap. The rest of the "Big 3" (HA!) has gone backward. KOC should be gone.

BrevIn

I don't think so Magnus. Kevin O'Conner and Sloan are a laugher in this one right on the big network.
