well, here we go, who should get the ax everyone?
If we could have forseen this than maybe we wouldn't have chased Escalada so hard. Or does Beltran or Nunez get the thumb?
Nice work, loan out one of our players. Good problem to have such a full squad.
I know nothing of Davies besides the fact that he is on the US under 20 sqad. If he is good how come Southampton didn't resign him? Does RSL even need Davies? Is he worth moving RSL's roster around to fit him in?
Southampton didn't resign him because they are broke and can't afford him. Plus it sounds like Davies wanted to come back to the U.S.
RSL doesn't technically 'need' Davies right now - they are pretty well set at that position - but he is a future star. He's worth keeping around for the future.
Yes, he's worth tweaking the roster over. This kid is the real deal.
I say ditch Nunez. With Fabi back, and Escalada, (If he really is as good as they say he is) we should be fine in attack. GO RSL!!!
These are the problems you like to have as a GM. Loan, loan, loan.
I think that RSL really needs to loan Seitz out for the season to a USL1 or USL2 team with the option of brining him back if needed. That would solve 2 problems, space for Espy, and getting Seitz game play experience.
I like the idea of loaning Seitz out with pre-existing conditions that if Rimando goes down then we get him back.
I also like the idea of maybe sending Nunez to USL, he has had some bursts of potential while here, but he will never see the pitch with Yura, Robbie, Escalada, and Espy in front of him on the depth chart.
As much potential as Seitz has, we need 2 solid keepers on the roster. I guess we'll see how serious Kreis was when he said Seitz merited more playing time here this year.
I would prefer to see Nunez, Reynish, Nimo or Horst sent out on loan somewhere.
Allez RSL
There's still a soccer team in Utah? I thought American soccer folded back in 2002. I can't believe people are still wasting money on it.
We should loan out players that won't be playing, I heard on the radio we are going to loan out Seitz so maybe that'll solve the "problem"
Sounds like a young talent with some potential. We don't really need a defender, but we'll take him.
Wow, taking the time to post a stupid comment like that? You really must do nothing all day. Get a life man.
Go back to your four square game. Yes, the world sport brings in more money and viewership than your little brain can fathom.
Nimo is already out on loan. I agree with getting seitz playing time. With how Rimando has played it doesn't make sense to change things. But seitz is an upcoming talent and should be playing somewhere. No need to respond to the soccer haters. The only thing that won't grow and last is them.
I agree that playing time for Nunez is going to be pretty slim with Findley, Movsisyan, Escalada and Espindola all "better" than him (I really have not seen Tino play more than a game, and I don't really know how good he is), and we could always play Mathis or Johnson up top as well. Loan him to a USL team so he can get some playing time.
the womens league folded in 2002 i believe.. Not the mens.. But i'm guessing you already knew this and are just trying to get a raise out of people. Guess it worked.
Yeah, it also created more comments, which means more soccer coverage. So I doubt it really worked the way he planned.
