Brad Rock...

the master of THE OBVIOUS.

Enlighten us Rock, don't repeat what we already know.

i agree....

Rock is horrible. Can't SLC get some real sports columnists???

Idahoan

It's easy

Put a fork in the Jazz. They are done. At least next year we'll not have to have the comments on Boozer. He'll be enjoying his "Deserved Raise".

BigJazzFan

Rock just proved my point,

a point I hae been making for months,

Boozer is not a TRUE star,

he make no real difference whether he plays or not,

and rock just showed MORE numbers that prove it.

Oldfashoned Double Post

Why doesn't Sloan take off his blinders and put them back on his plow horse? Then he may be able to see why the old fashoned double-post offense he is using is causing so many losses. It puts two of the best defenders in front of the basket from the get go. And if Boozer or Okur are lucky enough to get the ball without a turnover, they immediately have two or three defenders all over them. The Jazz should spread out their offense - open the lanes for the guards to drive to the basket and score, get fouled, or pass off to an open shooter.
All the teams that are using a wide open offense are beating the Jazz. Golden State who could only put seven players on the floor soundly beat the Jazz with a textbook offense.

Hugh Hater great job you are my idol
Snagglepuss "great to hear from you again", super job.
Purple People and RUDY: Great job, precise/informative

I never asked people to stay away. One game is not going to make this team go BK or move. A message has to sent to this team that you are not satisfied with this basketball and this coach.

Instead of Matt Harpring hacking, coming in and getting 3 fouls, a better message would have been to start the 2nd half with Price and Fez.

Once again the wrong move

MILES: I give you credit on this one, CJ seems to be a target for a lot that goes wrong.

He did not do that bad for 9 minutes and then you do not see him again. He played no worse defense than anyone else on the court.

Thanks to all the smart, good fans for seeing the truth and the kind words

Kick in the rear

This team of primadonnas neads a big kick in the rear starting with Boozer. Next Jerry for continuing to play him. Come on Jerry get control of your team. Quit being so nice to them. Where is the comments about how much the players are getting paid. Please play Price, Milsap and any other of the players that can spark this team. That is what we are missing, some extra SPARK.... The jazz are way too predictable and obviously just going through the motions. They are not competing as they did when they were without Boozer.

Win Two

Win two and they could end up tied for 6th... would they own the tiebreaker?

The old school coaches. . .

. . . like Jackson, Pop, Nellie, have Sloan's number these days. Their teams are dominating the Jazz in recent days, and it's because even I could figure out Sloan's next moves -- he's a time-worn Timex that's still ticking, but as predictable as the minute and second hand.

I'm looking at 6-10. . .

. . .since the end of the 12-game win streak. That's a complete meltdown, not just "fading down the stretch."

Catching lightning?

Shoot, Boozer can't even catch the ball in the lane anymore on the pick and roll.

casual fan

What we need is somebody with a good two-handed set shot.

Home court advatage?

Wow I guess no one cares to notice we haven't had HCA since Stock and Malone.

oh my

The Jazz had some heart when they would push the ball up the court. Seems the up tempo helped their defense too.

Striker

Unless Dallas and NO really biff it, Utah will play the lakers.....uhg. If we're gonna be gone in the first round, I'd rather it be by anyone but THAT team. I can't stand arrogant jerks like those found on the lakers and in the front row fan section.

Of 16 playoff teams. . .

only the Bulls have a worse road record this year. Make plans for an early summer -- the players have.

Players Pointing Fingers

Selfish play and poor effort and we have sides being taken and fingerpointing going on in the locker room.

When Boozer was injured/not playing there was great comraderie in the locker room and players had no problem helping each other out on defense.

Now Boozer is back with his myopic offensive focus and his defensive obliviousness and we have players saying "why bother" playing defense when Boozer is out there?

Boozer won't play the pick and roll right and it causes every player to have to leave their man to help which puts us in a scramble. Anyone ever heard the phrase "a chain is only as strong as the weakest link"?

All you idiots whining about Sloan and singing the praises of Nellie and these other bad teams ie. Minnesota that have beat us recently. Did you not notice that NONE of them are going to the playoffs?
You bozos get dazzled by the trickery--these teams NEVER win consistently. NEVER!!!!

Many of us did not know whether we would make the playoffs with all these injuries but where are we now? Winning close to 50 games.

Just need to unload some gutless players and improve DEFENSE.

Fell off cliff

I think the Jazz stepped off the Cliff a couple weeks ago.

Mark

I went to the Utah Flash game this weekend where they won the western conference title. Maybe we should throw our support behind thme.
