AK wanted it more than the other players.
An early fishing trip that is.
You'd think a HOF coach could beat a 7 man GS . . .
The minute the ref followed Dwill into the huddle to give him a technical I knew it was over.
The time has come to quit going to the games.
Don't buy playoff tickets. Don't attend. Don't cheer. Don't watch on television. Let them know what you think.
Hope that the team can find some players with heart somewhere else.
The coach has lost the team. It's the first time in 20 years. It's over.
even at home, we cant win no more. Hopefully we can win at least one against the Lakers before they take us out in the first round.
WILLIAMS, ET AL HAVE NO HEART.....
Wow, awesome display of defending your home court, fellas! 55% shooting from a short-handed Warriors team who also played back to back last night? Back to back home losses to two of the worst teams in the league? Sure hope Greg Miller was watching. Something needs to change, both on the floor and in the office.
everyone do not rip on the Jazz, it is "unpatriotic" and do "not dare be critical of heartless players and a coach who needs to step down at the end of the season" see if you are negative, you might be accused of "being an outsider and to go away". The Jazz are awesome, Sloan is super, Players care they have heart and are great at what they do and they are going to win the title. Then they will like you.
BOO!!! Terrible, embarassing, pathetic.
BOO!!
Kevin OC it is time for a wholesale fire sale of players!!!!! This team can not be the same come fall
!!!
TOP 10 THINGS TO DO TO FIX THE JAZZ
10. Let Boozer opt out (please go elsewhere, Loozer!)
9. Let Memo opt out. Interesting fact: he's allergic to defense).
8. Trade Knight and get a serviceable backup PG.
7. Let Sloan retire gracefully at end of season.
6. Rework the offense.
5. Here's a novel idea: Get guys who can actually play D, and who want to play D.
4. Get some leadership for this team. There's none right now.
3. Hire a coach who doesn't get lit up by every mediocre three-point shooter in the league.
2. Let Phil Johnson, Layden and Corbin go.
1. Fire Kevin O'Conner!!! He should have made moves earlier this season and didn't. That's malpractice.
would anyone entertain the thought of letting Phoenix have our 8th seed this year for their 2nd round draft pick say in 2010, 2011, 2020? It doesn't really matter. Tonight's game was an utter disgrace, even for the most dedicated of bandwagoners. They had a chance to climb as high as 5th prior to last week's Minnesota debacle, and then this Golden State disaster tonight?
Never mind going in as an 8th seed, do the Jazz really want to be there, or belong there, or in the playoffs at all?
Questions: Did Sloan suit up and play tonight? Did we go back in time? NO!
The bottom-line: all of us Jazz fans are living in the past when we had three consistent players who had guts and determination; now we're left with spoiled, tattooed freaks, who are as gutless and cowardly as a common criminal. The ONLY time D-Will EVER shows up is against CP3; and that's all about his ego. We need to scrap this punks (at least the starting five, except fro Brewer) and start over. The Jazz should've just cashed this season in and settled for the lottery. Seriously, let's be real Jazz fans would they be any worse off? At least then the team would have had a chance (ping pong balls) at a higher draft pick without the embarassment of being swept by the Fakers in the first round. I'm sure I'll be criticized here as being disloyal, but HONESTLY ask yourselves fans, where's the loyalty from these OVER-PAID-selfish-So-and-so's??? Jazz will lose by double digits every game the rest of the year and they don't care. Why should we?
Don't stop there with your great ideas
1b. Fire the Bear...he can't get the fans riled up like he used to
1c. Hire our own referees
1d. Win more games
1e. Bring back Malone
1f. Fire em all, burn down the Delta...err ESA, and watch the team miraculously win a title the next year with YOU as the coach!
It's official. I'm done!!!!
Let's see.....With CJ out of the lineup the Jazz are now 1 - 5. Say what you want but when he doesn't play, WE LOSE. Is value is beyond any of your comprehension...Hope he is back soon
Where's the emotion from these guys? From Sloan to Okur to Williams to Boozer it's the same old song after each of these unacceptable losses. Where's the anger? I miss the old Sloan who would have called these guys out by name for their pathetic play?
Come on Williams....you're the supposed leader of this team....say it like it is....we're all starting to wonder if you will ever be a leader.
Oh well, whatever. Blah, blah, blah.....My cheerleader pompoms have gone limp.
This team has cratered. It's a shame they already made the playoffs, they don't deserve it right now.
I love the Jazz. I will admit though that the past year, especially the past 10 days, I have done a lot of grumbling and complaining...to friends, family, on blogs, etc. However, after tonight's game (yes, I watched the whole thing)strangely, I do not have any anger, spite, or frustration. In all seriousness, and I mean this, I really feel sorry for the Jazz right now. Just plain sad for them. I honestly thought they would lose and I don't know why. Not only do I not know whats holding them back but listening to post game TV and radio it seems that neither do the announcers, coaches, or players. I really don't think any of us fans know either. Oh, go ahead and say Boozer has no heart, or they don't play defense, or Okur looks out of shape, or AK looks diseased and anemic...but I really don't think any of us really know. Strange, very strange. The only thing I know, and this really isn't meant to be a slam, is that this never, ever, EVER would have happened with a Stockton and Malone team. LA 4-0
speaking of the team "they are SELFISH, they would rather score than play defense." Since Jerry didn't finish his thought I will for him. He also wanted to say that his group of little boys he coaches are a bunch of immature, overpaid, wimpy, little babies. I'm sure if it wasn't CHILD abuse he would sock them in their face himself.
