Round 1 goes to Lehi
Is Pleasant Grove suppose to be good they started off strong then 2 losses in a row. Are they just now getting to the tough part of their schedule? Or were they just over rated?
My personal opinion is that they were over-rated and now that they are playing better teams the wins are not coming so easily. They are still a tough team, but should not have been ranked as high as they were.
They can't hit the ball. 3 hits against an average pitcher is not enough. Should have lost to Lone Peak also. Their pitching keeps them in games, their fielding and hitting loses them.
The Vikings are still young and are still one of the top 5 teams in Utah County. They are still the last team in the Valley to beat Spanish Fork.
If I remember correctly Springville beat Spanish Fork the end of last season....after PG had beat them. So PG is not the last team in the valley to beat SF.
