not working

Which part of "this is not working" is that hard to understand. Play Price instead of Knight. Play Boozer much less.

How many missed shots and how many missed defensive stops will it take to bench Boozer. Jerry, get a clue. Everyone else can see there is a problem and no solution that you are willing to take. Get ready for a short postseason. Jazz will be beaten every game if we play the Lakers, starting with next weeks regular season game.

THEeyepatch

This not where the Jazz hope to be, consider it won and done if they do end up playing the Lakers in the first round. Tony Parker couldn't miss and got some call from the refs on some tiky tak fouls. Popgun 47 played terrible as did Boozer who was held scoreless in the first half. This was a game that the Jazz should have won with Ginobli out and Duncan not really playing well. One thing that I have never liked about Duncan is his turn around jump into the defender shot. He gets the call every time and it shouldn't be called as a foul on the defender, he's just standing their. That's part of his game and if they took it away or called it a offensive foul, well, who knows. I know other players do it, but he uses that move too much. Well, unless the Jazz can find a way to win on the road, which I don't see anytime soon, better luck next season.

My Sentiments Exactly

Boozer said in this article that they have 3 games before the season gets real! I agree totally, and I also think that82 games are 41 too many. Cut the season schedules in half, the salaries in half, the ticket cost in half and let the rest play itself out. This selling, selling, selling this team, season tickets, playoff tickets by the media and especially Boler and crew is sickening. Please get it over with SOON. Hopefully 7 more games and this season is history.

Wondering

if this is the same pattern for some of the Jazz players as last year and the year before.

Seems that for the last two or three years at the end of the season, players who have been so good seem to not be able to step up in the last games.

It is kind of like "boy," will I be glad when this is over. Seems like this is what happened to BYU, Utah, Weber, and Utah State this year also. When it came time to step up, they did not have anything left.

ONE AND DONE!!!!!! LET'S GO JAZZ! GET SWEPT BY LA! Or, perhaps you could man up, play like you give a dang and beat the lakers beating the second best team in the league in the first round...... Looks like the Jazz will crumble 5 in a row against the same team.... I told you guys the San Antonio drought would continue... There is always next season... Or, perhaps.... the Jazz will NEVER AGAIN win in that Texas town.... Mr. Miller.... Fire Jerry! You gotta do it! Or are you truly happy with the same old stink every season??????? Perhaps fire all the players too... bring in a whole new group that actually plays like they have self pride.... local pride..... Overhaul the whole organization... This mediocrity stinks..... I want my money back!

Funny

The road losses have gone from painful to comical.

AJ

Boozer- how about take responsibility? You played better in the second half? Well thanks for telling us! You "played better in the second half" Sounds like an excuse for your lazy play in the first half. I sometimes wish these guys could watch Malone and Stockton, up close, in the huddle, in the locker room and in practice. Where's the nastiness and grit that won't back down from anyone, anytime?
Stop yelling, "And one," everytime you make a basket, put your nose down and shut up and play.

Last night

Houston won on the road at GS without Ming or T-Mac. That shows some of the differences between the two organizations.

HOU went out and got Mutumbo as a back up C in mid season as insurance. He had 10 points and 15 rebounds (plus played defense). The Jazz refused to get insurance a backup C and lost a bunch of games. Mutumbo cost about 2 mill.

HOU also played a lot of young players. They played well. They have been playing well all year.

The Jazz, if you were a young player why would you play hard? Are you going to get anything but garbage time? Just bide your time. Take "3 years to learn the system." If you are a vet why play hard? You have no replacement. Save your energy, turn it on when you have to.

HOU at least tries to fix it's problems. It's system is adaptable. They lose a key player and play well or better.

The Jazz get an injury and the whole system implodes.

The Jazz system is over complicated, the management are cheap and myopic. HOU at least tries to win.

I am rather tired

of hearing Sloan talk about defense. All we ever gets is talk and bombed by outside shooters. It is more of the same.

SA is 1/2 superstars short but they can still beat the Jazz system. Why is that? Maybe it is a way over rated system that just does not work unless everyone makes it work near perfectly.

Where is all of the depth the Jazz are supposed to have? If someone is shooting 20% you should and aught to sub for them. When has that happened all year.

I have seen enough of the other Western Conf coaches to know that a lot of them are doing pretty well with less than the Jazz.

"You know, we've got three games to go before we get where the season's get real"
That is the problem Mr Boozer - you and some of your mates don't seem to think much of the regular season is for real; no sustained effort.

The Jazz are a talented group, quite talented; but seemingly not smart.

Forever YOUNG

Please don't blame the last 3 losses on being a YOUNG TEAM!!!!!!

We have heard that before...... GROW UP ALREADY!!!
One can use this excuse only so often and then it gets old. Is that what we are trying to do?

TRADE LOOOOOZER for someone that has HEART and is WILLING to play DEFENSE.

Adrian is NOT a starter.....Did he even make a shot?

TRADE KNIGHT and get someone that can back up D'Will and not cause us to loss ground and points.

WE NEED A BIG MAN under the basket that will block shots, stop the EASY layup by the likes of Parker and can still make a basket.

MAYBE it's time to TRADE Sloan?????

Tough

As tough as it is to lose again on the road and AGAIN in San Antonio, at least they tried and it looked like there was effort.

We were at least in the game which is more than I can say for the last 20 times we played there.

Sucks to be eighth but the Hornets and the Jazz will likely end up tied for 8th which means we will be 7. Ugly way to get it done but..we will likely have to take it.

Boozer and AK stunk it up shooting. It seems like somebody is in a shooting funk every game now almost.

Not sure what is up with AK. He was playing so well right after he came back from his surgery. Then Booz came back and his minutes went in the tank..again. Now he is getting more but he looks totally out of rhythm.

Looks like might be sulking again over minutes. He is a better player than this though. I am sure he is tired of being shutout every time Boozer is in the lineup.

Oh well, the offseason will force us to unload one of this guys...better be the nondefender.

"Not a good identity to have"

No kidding, Deron.

Now 6-9 since winning streak

Not exactly championship level basketball. Oh well, the Bees season started -- time to flush the Jazz.

"Dumbfounded?"

Well I'm not. Play defense you sluggards.

"I thought I played better"

Boozer's delusional as usual. Sloan would have been better off benching him through the fourth.

Somebodybuytheseguysaheart

Does anybody out there still believe that the Jazz are anything but a bunch of lazy, apathetic, disinterested, under-achieving losers? Can you imagine that you would still have a job if you performed it in the same fashion the Jazz perform theirs?

This group of drones is an insult to the natural competitive spirit of mankind.

Start over. Get rid of the lot for whatever you can and start rebuilding with some people who actually care enough to give their best.

Anyone still convinced that this roster has what it takes to truly succeed together? I can't think of another "quality" team in the NBA that is collapsing like this, at this crucial point in the season. The Spurs could have used the injury reasoning last night to lose, but they didn't. Looks like for my 23rd straight year running, I will be saying "wait until next year". I hope Okur opts out. The Jazz do not need five offensive minded starters. I cussed for years when Ostertag and Eaton were the centers because they didn't score enough. Now, I would love to see a starting center that would play havoc on defense and scare people. The Jazz looked like a better team with Mikki Moore at center. Boozer still not 100%? Hell, I had my leg amputated and was back to 100% quicker then he is. There are more excuses on this team then I have ever seen on a Sloan coached team. They must all have their off season vacations booked again.

Wouldn't it be great. . .

. . . if you could "fall into" first place. Oh, wait, that's the opposite of gravity -- you actually have to want it to get it.

Are you serious?

The Jazz are an insult to everybody who has ever played with heart, energy and desire. They should be ashamed of themselves. But I just don't think they care enough......
