Wow, what a thrill for those kids! Go Disney! Personally, I don't enjoy Miley, but if my kid was one of those kids, I know it would be a thrill of a lifetime. Congrats to all those kids and their moms. If they went to school on Monday and started telling everyone they saw Miley, nobody would believe it! What a cool story!

I think this is sad. Girls are obsessed with another celebrity who they will never be. I am glad to know that none of the girls in my family are so easily taken in by this kind of stuff.

This Kid is worth millions... | 9:16 p.m. April 10, 2009
and this is a good example of why. Awesome promotion, she's everywhere. I, like WOW above, am not really a fan, but she deserves all the success she has for being so great with her fans and for being smart enough to have people working with and for her that think up great stunts like this one!

Way to go, Miley!

I think she is a wonderful role model. She has made a few mistakes, but give her a break-she is a typical teenager! You rock Hannah-keep it up!

I just got back from the movie here in FL with 8 adorable fans and we all loved the movie (to be perfectly hones - my husband and I "enjoyed" it). I appreciated that it was a G rating and held to that rating. I appreicate that Disney didn't have to sink to some levels that other supposed kids movies sink to. I "believe" for now she is a great role model and the movie espoused strong family values. I hope she continues to play these types of roles and doesn't become a bottom feeder like so, so many of her predessors. Go Miley Cyrus and thank you Disney!
A few years | 12:34 a.m. April 11, 2009
Give it a few years and the sex tapes, scandalous photos, and drug addictions will kick in and we'll see her back in Utah, in Orem at rehab.

I wonder what Miley is going to be like when she is twenty-five... I just don't think this is going to end well.

How fun. Congrats to Miley and Disney for their visit to Utah. Utah is one of thee biggest fan bases for the Mouse Kingdom. I mean look how many Disney movies are filmed here. It is amazing. Disney and Utah have always had a connection. I think having Miley come and surprise the audience was classy. No, these fans will not grow up and be Hannah Montana or Miley Cyrus but so what? Everyone has their entertainment idols and isn't it nice that it is someone nice like Miley instead of Britney or Paris or Lindsey. Come on, Count Your Blessings as the Mormon Hymn tells us. LOL.

I don't like her music but I do love what she does for Disney's stock as I am a shareholder.

celebrity culture is a symptom of the shallowness that is a cancer on our society.
Why | 12:37 p.m. April 11, 2009
is it that Americans glamorize celebrities? Is it because everyone wants to sing or act? or is it because everyone wants to be famous? no wonder why depression is so rampant.

What a way to make someone's day by doing the unexpected.

What fun surprise have you done lately for someone?

More children attaching to low priorities and values and more poor parenting letting them feed into it.

I think that was a neat thing for her to do.
Personally I think she has a lot of talent. Also- someone mentioned a question about her mother. I assume that they had her Dad appear with her as he is also famous from his past.

biggest markets, prozac, celebrity wannabees, bankruptcies...they all build upon one another.

What negativity! I'm happy that she was able and willing to do this. It sounds like the those without imagination or happiness are the only ones that aren't looking on the good side of this. There are plenty of people that would rather die than visit their fans. They're just out for the money. I think its awesome.

Holy Hannah! How Fun!

What a great marketing strategy. Disney is having all sorts of celebrities drop in during movie openings. It should draw tons more people, especially those youngsters who think it is so cool to see a celeb in person.
