I have many memories of Elder Richards. He was greatly beloved by my ancient Florida relatives and helped organize the first stake in his old Southern States Mission (Jacksonville) in 1947. He helped ordain my father a high priest and the first stake clerk at that event. One of his miriad of grand sons took me to a conference in Orem at the Scera to listen and meet him during my BYU youth. His speeches were materpeices of improv from the spirit.
