pitching | 9:15 a.m. April 8, 2009
The Dons are great but why wont they pitch some one besides the duks you have Duffin A great lefty or castleberry give them a chance after all this is there last year of high school baseball. This coaching staff did this last year with nelson and some of the others pitchers. These pitchers would throw a lot better if they would pitch them more giving them some experience. There are some scouts that would like to see them throw out side of the bull pen these kids have woked very hard this off season just to watch the duks play..............

They had Castleberry warming up in the bullpen. Had the game continued past five innings, he was coming in.

Guess those other two pitchers should have gone to Salem.

Sounds like a little uneasiness in Spanish.Of course the Dukes will be overused, they always have been.Unfortunatly that is just the way it is.

Josh Mooney suspended. Feel bad for the kid plus his parents. Bad choices lead to bad consequences.

It remains the same and that is why they only have 3 state championship.

All kids make mistakes. But after watching the game yesterday.I feel bad for all the AF kids who are trying to do the right thing. Everyone on the team has to pay for one players bad choices. I guess if you throw hard and have the scouts look at you, you don't even have to stand and pay your respects to
our flag and our country.

Don't ever care to watch SP play...really can't stand to watch BD play..he is so...

That wasn't cool of him to remain seated in his lawn chair during the national anthem. Very disrespectful.
Provo | 7:00 p.m. April 8, 2009
lost four players including its #1 starter, #3 starter and a relief pitcher that was a starter last year with an ERA pretty close to 3.00. They also lost their starting 2B who was also their back-up catcher who was hitting over .300. The #3 pitcher was also a part-time starter who hit a three run homer vs. Granger.

The moral of the story is that Provo has gone on without really missing a beat. A sophomore has stepped up to become the #1 pitcher. A senior that has seldom been used on the mound in his career at Provo has become the #2 starter and has won his last two starts. Provo beat Springvllle 11-1 and Orem 14-5 and has won 10 games in a row overall. This has to be a credit to the Provo players and their excellent coaching staff. It's time for AF supporters and their players to quit whining and get back to winning...
Wondering it | 11:22 a.m. April 14, 2009
the slcc coach will still offer to mooney? I would n't want someone like that on my team. Good player but bad attitude. Maybe he would have stood for national anthym if anyone in his family had been in a war. A war to protect him from sitting in his lounge chair. Brutal!
