Re WHAT? | 3:08 p.m. April 7, 2009
Fact: Morrill coached CSU teams own three of the top seven winning seasons in school history.

Fact: Stew ranks second on the CSU victory list and second in winning percentage. He guided the Rams to back-to-back 20-win seasons the last two years in Fort Collin

Fact: Stew is one of only 27 active coaches with 400 career wins at the Division I

Fact: Stew is one of 13 active coaches to notch at least 13 20-win seasons.

Fact: Stew Morrill has plenty more achievements than I care to post.

Sorry but, Stew has shown he can succeed and has success has followed him everywhere. If he had taken the position to WSU. The probability of him succeeding would have been high.
Not a Wazoo fan | 10:26 a.m. April 9, 2009
It's still hard to fathom HOW Wazoo could offer a b-ball coach $1M ... when the whole state has a budget deficit of over $9 BILLION ... and they're planning on shutting down state parks ...

I guess that Gregoire Economics ...

I'm glad Stew is a very smart man who's more interested in building character and a solid program than the big bucks ... He probably wouldn't even be able to turn around the sucktacular Wazoo program ... I don't think Tark the Shark could do it either ... or any of the other great coaches ...

everybody that says stew can't win a postseason game, they are right, but look at the players he has. not one has played in the nba except a few ten day contracts here and there. and yet he produces 25 win seasons year in and year out. what other coach can say that "i have 0 nba talent but still win 25 games a season." i think stew is the only one that can say that. you give the guy some talent and the possibilities are endless. don't get me wrong,i am a huge aggie fan, and appreciate all the players that come through usu, but they just aren't nba calibur players. i hope he stays.
