Wahh, wahhh, wahhhh. What a bunch of whiners on this posting. And of course the Utah and Utah State fans are obvious. Again, whoever expects BYU to be competitve beyond the MWC is delusional. BYU does not care if they win any type of national championship. It is a religous school first and they will not compromise that for any championship. Since we can't get top notch athletes with the honor code, we will never reach the top. I am fine with that. Get over yourselves.

I wonder if BYU teams might overachieve during the regular season. Then, in the post season, other teams play harder because they didn't achieve their full potential during the season, so they have a bit left for the post-season. BYU players don't, so their play isn't up to the level required to win in the post-season. I am not claiming this is factual; I am just wondering if it could be possible....

I remember years ago, when BYU really was "unknown", how much of a thrill it was when they won the NIT, and sometimes beat "better" teams. I'd like to see them "miss" the NCAA tournament and play in the NIT, where they would match up better with other teams.

Because of the voluntary rules and "codes" BYU athletes live by (they don't get special treatment as other schools give their athletes), their priorities are different. Most are married, for example; in 1977, I knew an excellent athlete who quit football because he realized it was preventing him from giving fully to his son wife. I thought he was crazy at the time, but now, I admire what he did!

Now that Mcgregor has decided not to come back BYU has an extra scholarship to give this Spring. Who should they give one to.

The Trib beat writer said coach Rose worked Miles hard at being more of an offensive player. I wonder if that was true. I think Miles can be a much better offensive weapon. If coach Rose doesnt think so, then they should try to sign a JC big man. Not sure how good of a player is still available but BYU definitely needs the center position to be more of an offensive threat. If not, passing into the center does you no good. People still hang out and guard the perimeter.

Why are we still talking about this?.....they lost, get over it...if they make it the dance next year...they will lose in the 1st round, get used to it!!!!

... and Utah won't even make the tourney!
