I'm pleased to see this story. I wish we would see more stories like this. I'm so happy for the family. I bet the anonymous donor is sleeping well tonight knowing that he just changed a families future. Way to go!
This! Is what it's all about! Can you imagine what our state could do to help others if we all gave what we could? We can always find someone worse off than ourselves.
This is a perfect example of a compassionate free market. This is what's it's all about!
Thanks for the story!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the story, but please check your facts. It sounds like this family is not "Butonese" but Bhutanese, from the nation of Bhutan. Thousands of Bhutanese refugees have been waiting in camps in Nepal for the past 17 years, and the US government is now making a major effort to resettle them here.
This is nice. We need to help all Americans.
I am very pleased to learn that this family has been relieved of some of the difficulties in their lives and am very proud to live in a country and state where they have received such generosity.
However, with only six months to find a permanent solution to their housing and, I presume, general living arrangements, isn't this simply postponing some inevitable unhappy outcome?
What is their long-term fate?
This is amazing! Bless the donors and volunteers that made this happen. Great story. It is contagious giving and it makes me want to give more. Thanks!
