You just can't put into the right words how Fantastically awesome David is live. I saw him in Chicago, it's a sight and sound for all ages. Seriously glad to be alive to witness a star-in-the-making. GO BIG D!!!

ERcheers

good for him. I am a fan.

David rawked tonight! This kid has the most amazing voice and has grown immensely as an entertainer. His joy was palpable and infectious. I hope Zero Gravity is released as a single - it's fantastic. I had high expectations for the concert and those were exceeded. I think this band is perfect for David - their shared energy is wondrous. Go David! Go David Archuleta Band!

Fantastic concert. I took my daughter and her two friends. What a great night. David Archuleta is a great role model. He is so positive and genuinely gracious about his success. Apparently he's also my future son-in-law.

Thanks for the quick recap! There are no words to describe David's amazing live performances, and he's only 18 and getting even better everyday!

Better get used to the screaming females, they're not going away anytime soon!

I was there at the E-center. It was incredible. David is the most incredible singer I've seen in a long time. I do not doubt that he will have a long career in music. His singing is so beautiful. His voice is powerful that it fills every nook and cranny of the arena. But it was the emotion and the joy when he sings that were astounding for someone that young. The tenderness that he applies to his ballads is so incredible that I feel like I could cry. His uptempo songs were so much fun also that I feel like I wanted to just dance. His set however, ender up too soon. I guess time flies when the concert is the greatest you've attended in a long time.

By the way, I really like Benton Paul too who opened for David. I think he has a great voice and great original songs. Please support him too. He is from Utah. And that Amie Miriello (sp?) who was the second act, she too is an incredible singer. Check out her song "Snow" from youtube.

You're looking great David A. Keep it up and just stay humble like you are. I love it when a performer is genuinely enjoying being on the stage and that the songs are good for every age.

Not that Donnie and Marie have retired by a long shot, but I think the King Sisters and the Osmonds have passed the 'From Utah' export baton to David. Imagine the following this kid is probably going to generate, not only here in the States, but in the entire Latino world. This kid is just getting started, I think he'll eventually dwarf most of the past Idol winners.

His whold family must have shown up.
Nice voice, hard to watch. No personality.

Give us guys a little credit too! David is an amazing singer, musician, and roll model. His live, a capella performances are awesome. I'm a huge fan, I'll leave the screaming to the girls though, lol. We truly have witnessed the launch of a star, one who is a very new and refreshing change.

Thank you Scott for the great write up. It was a great concert and we are so proud of David. The energy there last night was amazing and the crowd truly was multi-generational. He appeals to all ages and has male fans too, don't forget it! He's magical.

I saw David in Arizona. What a party it was!! So much fun to be with fellow David fans and feel the energy and the love. David put on an exciting yet beautiful performance. I'll always remember that night. David is magic!!!

My Mom, Sister, Wife, Aunt and Cousins all went to this and when they got home I couldn't believe how crazy they were! They loved him.

He would want to do his best for Utah and so he did.
Incredible energy with Zero Gravity-a sure pop hit.
Loved your review and great picture gallery.

I was there, having traveled from Toronto to be there. I wouldn't have missed the concert for the world....his voice was flawless, his stage presence polished but still joyful and genuine as he sang with raw talent and pure emotion. And yes, there were lots of us moms, and dads, in the audience soaking in the energy of the night. Your review is spot on.

david is so cute!

To see the videos of David doing his hometown concert makes me cry. What a wonderful young man and an awesome singer--Utah's Pride!!
I saw him in Tempe and there is nothing like witnessing his performance in person.
Good article--would have loved being there in person

And that's why AI created the wild card. Daughtrey, Houston, Archuleta, etc went out of their hands. They are in real need of a milky cow to fill their money boxes.

Good for you David. I am sure your mother can't be more proud of you!
