I, and my 24,000 patients (visits) so far, thank the Boy Scouts of America and the first aid merit badge for starting my career in medicine.

As one who has also donated time back to this great program, I applaud these students for choosing to add this altruistic service to their resumes.

People helping people is where it's at. I love adult scouts helping young scouts. That is the way it has been for years. I am glad Tyler Holmes go to use his skil saw. - John Dickson

Finally some positive, uplifting news. We could really turn around the economy if more of us did what they did.

Maple Dell Scout Camp, was constructed during the pior depression. The Nebo Loop Road, that the Scout Camp is located on, was build by the Great Depession Work crew and wihout much other than sheer hard work.
As a former resident of Payaon, I send my thanks to the former scouts and others from The Y for their voluneer effort. It is shame the way many of our
great assets are allowed to decline. Thanks again, lets have more tales of this type. They spread encouragement when it is really needed. For the skeptic, " See all the next generation aren't bad, they are working out of the spotlight, getting great things accomplished." (Roy Cella)689 W 925 South.Woods Cross,UT,.84087

I guess this is the type of story I'm now to expect from the Deseret News. Soft, friendly and with a Mormon slant.

Totally cool to hear about fromer Scouts giving back to a community that they may not have grown up in. Great example. Keep up the good work.

FOS money couldn't account for $50K in costs? Are they not bringing enough FOS funds?
