Slippery Roads

When driving in the snow and ice, one must be extremely cautious and careful and SLOW DOWN.

The driver of the truck probably was driving carefully and just had some bad luck. Hope he wasn't going real fast to catch a news story. Don't know from the story.

But One Thing I DO KNOW: Many drivers, especially on the Utah highways and other states too, drive
the same speed and other driving behaviors too (like passing slower drivers) on SNOWY and ICY Roads just like if it were a Spring or Summer Sunny Day!!!

It's these "Clowns" on the Road that sometimes scares the ba-jeezies out of me and others who have learned to slow down and modify one's Driving style when in BAAAD Weather conditions.

God Bless the driver and Channel 5.

Ouch. That must be a huge blow to the station, in a market and industry that is really hurting right now. Hope people don't lose their jobs as a result of this.

We are all very aware of the dangers of driving an already top heavy truck but add ice and you can mutiply the risk. Glad to hear the driver was not injured.I have passed this on to other operators as added incentive for caution.
