Very interesting article. Now what does a rancher do to get started on a green energy (REAP)project? Our ranch in Eastern Utah has a constant wind and seems to be a candidate for a wind turbine.
Curtis: Call the Utah Geological Survey's renewable energy program. It maintains a wind anemometer program that after testing can give you more info about how feasible your wind may be for either personal or commercial development. Best of luck! The Governor and President are pouring significant resources into Utah's renewable energy development! And California is buying Utah's best wind resources right now and paying significantly for it!!!!
