Alta got ousted.
Great game against Mountain Crest and Juan Diego last week Logan! Good luck against Ben Lomond!
Copper Hills High School is the real deal
Copper Hills needs to keep getting better because Alta will. But they have been going up these last few years so if they just keep it up this may be thier year. Is Carper choaching there now? He is the coach that took Jordan to its first state championship. Great coach.
are you kidding? why haven't you included east?
Where is Bingham this is unusual Bingham usually at least competes in all sports. . .
How about Pleasant Grove, who is 3-1 and beat Jordan very soundly in a game that Jordan really never had much momentum. How do you keep Jordan in at 0-3 when other teams are more worthy.
There is nothing left there this year. They graduated a number of seniors and kept like 12+ freshman this year. They have already lost to Delta this year. They will not be a contender. Riverton is in the same boat. They graduated a bunch of seniors. Actually the core of seniors that graduated from both Riverton and Bingham played on the same Club team. There isn't anything left on either team to be competitive this year.
Great game between Alta and Copper Hills. Two great teams competed well against each other, CH just played much better that day. JJ Niko-Paramore played the game of his life and dominated the hawks. Colby Hawkins and Brenton Hull anchored the middle of the defense well. As long as they avoid a slip up against hillcrest, copper hills should coast through a weakened region 3 and have a good shot to go undefeated. This could be the team that brings glory to a school that never gets it.
alta thought cuz they killed logan that we would be just as easy.. they came out slow and we took advantage of it. we just wanted it more, but you can tell alta is a very good team. we played our best game against them and i think alta has more in them than they showed. lets go undefeated this year grizzlies!!!
dude lone peak is number for sho.. tabiona well deserves 2nd place
We need help! Smith, Swank, and Dunn come back! No really I want to thank you for giving us four great years. We will just really miss you this year. You were so much fun to watch.
Skyline is here to stay!
usually gets into the top five in the preseason but never finishes strong. Skyline will prolly finish 4th in region 2.
Copper hills will likely meet alta again sometime in the playoffs. well either alta or brighton. And don't expect them to come out flat against you guys again. Alta is a young and inexperienced team they will only get better as the year goes on.
has the best coach in utah! The guy is tactically sound. Isn't he from england or something?
honestly...high school soccer is nothing short of kickball with three officials. at the the end of the day and come state finals it will be the same school(s), it always is and always will be in high school soccer. copper hills enjoy your ride...but until you win more than regular season matches -- a state championship -- i wouldn't get worked up this early. it will be brighton, alta, viewmont, davis in 5a. samething in 4a (bountiful, highland, mountain view, bonneville). high school soccer is division 1, 2 in club soccer on extra testosterone -not good soccer. out.
No way Jordan should be in the top 20 still after staring 0-3.
Every high school team is different than they were last year, some are better and some are worse. Brighton is still good obviously but they still have new players in their line up and same goes with skyline's line up and everyone else's. Hopefully skyline stays strong through the season to make region 2 even that much more competitive.
What about Pleasant Grove who is 3-1 why aren't they in when they beat Jordan who is 0-3 that is bull if you ask me
