Awesome.

Great project

If people really want to do something to help the those in the Third World, clean water and proper sewage disposal are the two biggest things.

If we add water to those communities, we must provide funds to take care of increased sewer water. If we don't the one will create a terrible problem. Both at the same time!!

Thank you!

This is exactly the kind of the thing universities should be doing; improving the world. Well done Cougars!

Hi there. I am a team leader for the Tap Project here at BYU. Thanks for your comments. Now let's all go out to eat at these restaurants!

Mike

The Utah Tap project has been a great project and is something I am excited this state is getting behind! I hope everyone catches the vision of what this project can accomplish!

Chris

FINALLY SOMETHING WE CAN ALL DRINK TO

Zack

According to the Tap Project website, donations raised during last year's Tap Project funded a variety of lifesaving projects - including $323,094 for water access improvements in densely populated villages in Cote d'Ivoire; $139,500 for sanitation improvements in Nicaragua; $139,500 for emergency and water, environment and sanitation capacity-building in Iraq; and $69,750 for school sanitation and clean water projects in Toledo region of Belize. The balance of funds went towards smaller water and sanitation projects around the globe.

It is amazing to see university students trying to make a difference with something such as this. Let's hope the whole community gets involved.

wow

And not a tax dollar was needed. Imagine what can be done when people see a need and meet it without the intervention of government. The recipients benefit without the strings attached that would come from government intervention.

Karla

University of Utah student group Unicef-Red, played a a large role in the recruitment of restaurants.Their contribution should be recognized.

Bryce

Yeah, the U did a great job. If I have my facts right, they got the Squatters chain, Fiddler's Elbow, and some others.

Saturday is the last day to donate, so let's go eat!
