Boo Hoo... Most people I know work doing the day, and would rather come home and spend some time outside in the light and wake up in the dark and have it be light when arriving at work, for anyone who is still working. Light is not being taken away from us, we now have more daylight to spend with our friends and family, and less time to read reports on the internet...oh, yeah lets cancel daylight savings lol.
Don't change | 3:07 p.m. March 21, 2009
Let's stay with one or the other. The constant changes upset our interior clocks and cause more accidents involving school children walking to school in the dark.

the amount of iight does not change, just the clock. It's a bit disruptive to change but the bottom line, more people are up at 7 PM than 7 AM and this helps save energy and gives the vast majority of people more opportunity to actually enjoy the light.

Whatever, I get home from work at midnight.
Go Daylight savings! | 9:42 p.m. March 21, 2009
I find the extra hour of light in the evening to be wonderful. I am able to spend much more time enjoying the benefits of sunlight in the evening than in the morning when I'm usually at work. The circadian disruption caused by the time change lasts a few days at most. We disrupt our daylight rhythms much more with irregular hours, travel etc. The dark in the morning with the spring switch lasts only a few weeks as days lengthen. Long live Daylight Savings Time!

I hate going to bed in the light so I can get up in the dark
The energy savings thing is a complete farce - people just run their air conditioning later using more power.
Stop this ineffective disruptive policy.

People who complain about the time change are people who have too few problems in their lives.

It's not daylight savings time that's the problem, it's the CHANGE that's the issue. As far as I'm concerned, daylight savings time should be the permanent time.

Living in a place that's usually overcast in the winter, and working indoors into the bargain, I go without seeing the sun for weeks on end in the winter. The days are short enough in the winter that I go to work in the dark and come home in the dark. Seasonal depression is real.

With daylight savings time, that extra hour of daylight in the evening makes a big difference. Mornings are wasted anyway -- the evenings, after work, are when things happen. That's sunshine I can use. I'll have my daylight when I'm awake, thank you.

It should ALWAYS be daylight savings time.

Amen, hallelujah, Dr. Cramer! And I agree with several of the previous comments...pick one (Daylight time or Standard time) and stick with it! Our bodies can adjust to whatever is given, but quit changing it back and forth.
