Wow, would've love to have been there. If you haven't already check out Mormon Times Music and Video, what a great site with a lot of talent. Love Aaron Southerland-great voice! But Brandon Osmond did very well in his songwriting and a very sweet voice.
Congradulations to all. ** A CD of the Showcase would be great?!

Guuess what? An Osmund won. From what I saw, he was far and away from being one of the best performers. The whole contest was a sham, a set-up, a lame excuse to give one of the good ol' boys some publicity. I feel bad for the other contestants who actually believed they had a chance. They wrote better songs and performed better, yet stood no chance against a rigged contest.

It was a sham. It was done by voting online...imagine that, a popularity contest. Of course an Osmond is going to win. They have about 600 cousins or something, right? Don't get me wrong, I love the Osmonds, but there was clearly better talent in the contest.

Just another way for wanna-be Greg Hansen to put his name out.

As a long time Donny fan, I was very disappointed when he sent out emails to his fan base asking them to log in and vote for his son. How unfair to the other contestants. I don't know the contestants and live on the other side of the US, so I don't have a dog in the fight, but this was a slimy use of his celebrity. Sent an email to his handlers after the first email to vote for Brandon came out. Still received another after that. So sorry for the other contestants who worked hard. They didn't have a chance.
