Inspirational story. Inspirational couple and amazing foundation. Keep us updated on the car D News. He deserves more than a car though, he deserves a home like the ones he helps build to give away. God bless you Mr. Berg. You're in my prayers.

I understand his delimna nd concerns compeletely.
I ws diagnosed with satge 4, regional, Transitional cell carcinoma....cancer of the lower half of a single kidney, with mestasticsm to the peri-renal nodes.... a belt of lymph nodes around the kidney.
Given gim prognosis in mid may.
Now doc says my life expectancy is beyond a "few" years. He says: "If you continue to respond to Chemotherapy as well as you have the past 10 months, your life expaetancy is not just a "few", but "several to many" years".
God gave us control over ur reactions. This "control" includes an attitude of positive belief.
All who believe in God and Jesus Christ have an "attitude"!

It's great to see that even with a lifetime of accomplishments, your hope is in Jesus Christ! You are amazing people!

What an inspiring atricle on Paul.

What a great example of a family, Dave and Betty Berg and their sons, Paul and Art who have spent a life of reaching out and blessing others even in the face of tragedy. You are an inspiration to us all.

I walked with all of our kids and they too send there love and appreciation to all of you including Tiffany and your children. We have a lot of cherished memories of the Berg family.

Love, Bob and Donna

Paul is a great guy; we wish him and Tiffany the best. We are sorry for the health situation. He has a lot of heart.

Paul and Tiffany Berg are as amazing as any two human beings can be! We love them so much and thank God that we can be called their friends.!

just wondering...

I don't know Paul - but I'm wondering how did his oral cancer develop? I know basically nothing about cancer - but the only cause of oral cancer I've ever heard of is chewing tobacco. Are there other causes of oral cancer? If not, what lessons can be learned from this tragic story?

Becky Bates Manwaring

Tiffany, I had little idea. . .You are an inspiration to a lot of people. We love you too.

To just wondering:

there are many causes to oral cancer and different types. But thanks for tucking a hint of judgmental stupidity in among the heartfelt comments of others. I don't know the Bergs either, by the way.

Causes to cancer

There are many forms of oral cancer. fyi, Paul, as far as I know, has never smoked or chewed tobacco. This is more than likely a result from skin cancer related to the sun. And no, he never spent that much time in the sun either.

Jeff Burrows

I heard last year about Paul's cancer and am saddened to read today of its recent return. May God continue to bless the Berg family at this challenging time.

Paul, When Life has presented you with lemons, you have made a whole comedy routine for it. Your humor and trust in God's will for your lives - show in how you and Tiffany, both live your days. Some people living twice your years, and, have less in their hearts than you. You are tapping into the way of the Divine. Keep "Living" every day that God gives you, cause you are a HERO, and very loved!

I am inspired by your story and life challenges. Keep the faith and cherish every moment, as all of us should.

Paul, I can't wait to see you behind the wheel of your dream! I was there when you unloaded the Cobra "kit", and have stood by and checked in from time to time watching it all come together. I didn't even know you up until that time. I've only been around a little since, but have seen the type of man that you are. You, too, have been in the midst of your own building process, but in a much more eternal way. God's "kit" is pretty dang cool! You are loved, my friend!! Finish Strong!!

You guys continue to be an inspiration. All I can do is send you hope and prayers for lots more great time together. What a family! I'm proud to be associated with you.
Love,
Marilyn
