Alexis Grace probably is more talented than Corkrey, though this is no slam on her. The voters are fickle and choose based on factors other than talent. I wish Corkrey luck. Utah seems to do well in these competitions. Also, the fact that Corkrey does not fit the Utah stereotype is not a bad thing. Let her be herself instead of another boring automaton.

I really thought Alexis was much better then her. I'm not impressed with her singing at all. Sorry Simon got to disagree with you on this one.

Her voice is fine. However, she should be voted off on the basis of her horrific dancing alone.

Will someone please teach this girl that it is okay to touch the microphone stand or to take the microphone by itself and walk around a little more. And please someone teach this girl some other move than her embarrassing hip twist. She has a good voice but I find myself being a bit embarrassed for her (and Utah)each time she is on stage.

I know that American Idol is real. It is not fixed, and it makes my life worth living. This is way more important than national politics or any other trivial matter.

Why people think she regrets her tattoos? I think she looks great.

The Tatoos will ultimately hurt her chances. She should at least stop going strapless and focus on those beautiful legs!

To Utahn?: Beats me why some people think every well shaped woman has had breast augmentation. (Megan has not)
To Markey: American Idol is a SINGING competetiion. It's not, "so you think you can dance." Megan is about the only one in the competetion who has no stage presence prior to this competetion. Now that she's in the top ten she will recieve coaching and training.
To Can you say...: I also feel that tattoos should be avoided, but to imply that Megan has mutilated her body is quite shallow.
Why can't we be happy that another Utah talent has reached the top ten in a national talent show? Megan may not have the outer appearance of Brooke White or David Archeletta, but she is a sweet young woman who is even more beautiful on the inside.

I was sorry to see Alexis go. She has a lot of talent. As for Megan Joy I am glad she survived. She is a very nice young lady. No, she may not be Brooke White or David Archuletta, but that is OK. She still adds a lot. She does have to work on vocals and stage presence or she will not last much longer. Hopefully she will feel better and concentrate on that.

What's wrong with this gals tattoo? It's body art! I've never heard her say she regrets having it, and she's not hiding it! I for one am not offended by it and could care less. Megan has a great voice, and a jazzy bluesy style all her own. I agree she cant dance worth squat, but unless she's going on tour with the young ambassadors or up with people, how can that matter? She's quirky and talanted and I'm proud she's a Utahan!

Point 1 - I agree
Point 2 - Well, no, it's not just a singing competition, which the judges have mentioned more than once over the past few seasons. It's 'American Idol', not 'American Singer', and stage presence/marketability comes into play when votes are cast.
Point 3 - Disagree that the comment is 'shallow'. Now, how she is treated because of her tattoos MAY be shallow.
Point 4 - So, what you are really saying is that she would look better if she was turned inside out.

I predict... she will get voted out at #8, and after the summer tour will intern with Simon on an "important" behind the scenes assignment.

Does anyone know what her tatoo is of? From a distance it looks like a giant bruise. Tatoo, and redundant "dance" moves aside, I love the unique quality of her voice. Even though I haven't liked all her song choices, I have enjoyed listening to her sing. I wish her the best of luck and hope to see her for weeks to come.
