It's LeBron and everyone else. It's not even close to a debate.
If you had ONE player to go to battle with....who would you chose? Kobe? LJ? or D-Wade?
You can't be serious by saying D-wade. Sorry.
Wade could stay healthy he could be in the discussion but anymore he never stays healthy for long though.
The way he played in the olympics and the way he is playing right now though is as good as anyone.
The difference is though that Lebron has been carrying his team at the top of the league all season long.
Kobe is no wear near as strong as Lebron.
Case closed.
The Jazz seem adept at making MVP candidates every time they play, because somebody always seems to light them up for lack of defense. There have to be teams that just lick their chops when they see the Jazz on their schedule. D-Wade proved it again today.
i feel the Jazz have very good talent, no denying, I truly feel mentally there are blocks that makes this team very tight, and ovethinking too much and in doubt away. I truly believe the Jazz play scared and by certain teams on the road, Miami, San Antonio, Portland, Lakers are cities that come to mind-lets hope Jerry reminds the boys of one our better games last year was a rout in Orlando. This by having a very strong experienced vocal leader on your team, we do not, someone not afraid to get into someones face and drive the players to be tough. Magic did over and over, so did Jordan, so do the great ones
As for MVP race, you are missing the point.
Can LBJ or DW sit out 4th Qr and win games? Kobe did it a couple of times the last few weeks.
Can Kobe score 50+ games and/or triple double? Remember, he has the best per game score this season, 61 in NY, and the best per game score after Will Cham, 81. As a matter of fact he is the second all time with most 50+ games.
Can LBJ or DW turn on and turn off their scoring? I seriously doubt that. Either they are hot and play well, or they are cold and they lose games.
Can LBJ or DW make their team better? That's arguable, but by seeing Kobe be the facilitator and make the team score better and win games proves that he makes the team play better.
Lastly, MVP is not MPP (most point player) or MTDP (most triple double player).
I rest my case.
It seem to me the thread here is about the Most Valuable Team (MVT) and not Most Valuable Player (MVP).
I you look at a team's record to choose MVP then it is James but if you look at individual accomplishments this season, I will go with Wade or Kobe.
When it comes to crunch time, James comes nowhere near Wade or Kobe.
That's the point people should look at not a team's record.
