    I don't know about Santaquin, but wages in many places got ahead of the value being created. People don't like wage reductions but the reality is sometimes they are necessary. If the citizens value the services rendered, they will vote for more taxes to cover the shortfall. If not, then Santaquin should not produce as many "services". Maybe it is time to cut back.

    It is always best to mess with the people who actually do the work. Hurting people who depend on their jobs to live is always GOOD business. I bet the city SO PROUD of themselves.

    If Mr. Reid is actually producing these projects then what's the beef over $30,000 a year. The City will recoup that many times over in sales and property taxes. Don't loose him.
