This whole Nordic walking thing is true! Even if you have health concerns, it's easy. I've done this, and it's fun! Best part, it doesn't feel like you're 'doing' anything, and you're really not even sore, but you can FEEL your muscles getting stronger. You can feel that you have more energy in a very short time. You have to walk to get from place to place anyway, why not make it twice as effective? Thanks, Elizabeth, for introducing me to the poles!

Hurray for Elizabeth, Donna and Footepath.org! You are fantastic advocates for so many people who don't yet know how successful they will be. Keep up your great work, rewards will arrive to those who help others!

Nordic Walking is like a status symbol in Europe. It's an amazing activity for getting out with your buddies, enjoying the outdoors and upping your cardio workout. It's great for cross training as well as for people who want to start exercising.

Footepath is helping people get and stay healthy. No special fees, just a little training and a good pair of LEKI poles and you're moving & grooving.

In this economy, this is an ideal activity for achieving and maintaining health & wellness. I teach Nordic Walking in Northern CA and am honored to know Elizabeth & Donna. They're true blue and truly & deeply concerned with helping people.

Nordic Walking is the best!

April is Parkinson's Awareness Month and the poles are helping individuals radically improve their balance and stability too. I have hosted a bunch of free Nordic Walking Clinics for MS and PD Support Groups and the poles are a huge improvement over canes and walkers.

It is important to note that one-piece poles are safer, lighter and much more durable than poles with cheap twist-locking adjustable length/telescoping/collapsible poles. Skiers don't use poles with cheap twist-locks and neither should seniors or individuals with balance issues. At American Nordic Walking System we recommend durable and user-friendly one-piece poles sized to each individuals height. The American Nordic Walking System offers different levels of exertion to accommodate all ages and all fitness levels.

Perfect length poles help us to automatically walk with a super straight back - better walking posture is biomechanically a good thing. This improved walking posture when combined with the unique 4-Wheel-Drive type action of walking with poles radically reduces the stress to the shins, knees, hips and back.

Keep up the good work Donna and Elizabeth!

I'm continually amazed at the gadgets that people have to come up with so they have some motivation to move their bodies.
My father-in-law, who did heavy physical labor running a farm for over 60 years, would just shake his head and laugh. I guess he had a Nordic shovel, Nordic hay bales, Nordic milk cans.................
