If this happens there will be a mass exodus of ambulence chasers from Utah heading west! Always room for them in California!

Once again, the Deseret News gets it wrong. This bill does not extend "immunity" to anyone. That was just a trial attorney scare word that is nowhere to be seen in the bill. Please try to stick to the facts, do some actual investigating, and resist the temptation to simply repeat the sensational statements of the self-interested.

I agree with Skinni..."immunity" is not granted in the law. Now the trial attorneys will need to provide "clear and convincing evidence" that malpractice occured. Just like any other person would want in a case brought against him/herself. A blow to "ambulance chasers," but should not have included the sunset clause.
