Im tired of the snow already!!!
this is part of the legislatures plot to make us think that taxes should be raised. they will claim it is for snow removal, but will use the taxes for other pet projects.
I am tired of all this "global warming"! I am tired of shoveling it and tired of driving in it!
Come to Heidelberg and enjoy 3 months of rain. It has probably rained 90% of the time, snowed 5% of the time and a few nice days. I am tired of the rain. The 5% snow is a long time record here. Everywhere you see moss on the sidewalks, the trees, the walls, the planters it is so wet.
It is too bad that the state and the local cities no longer provide enough money to pay for snow removal and proper salting of roads. That is what makes these storms so dangerous.
I grew up in Utah, spent half my life on the Wasatch Front, and was back in Utah this past Christmas. So, I know something about snow removal.
But, come Summer, you should be grateful for the snow pack you're receiving now. It doesn't sound like you're experiencing a drought, and Utah can have droughts some years. Here in Central Texas we're finally receiving the first measurable precipitation in several weeks, but it will take several days of rainfall to make a sizeable impact on our drought. So, count your blessings!
And to think it was nice , sunny and warm here in Glenns Ferry Idaho. The Farmers Almanac also predicted an extra long winter.
