Sure tell who the pro union folks are.
Right to work states are the next federal target on the Democratic presidents adgenda, he owes the unions...big time.
Every person who votes has the right to privacy, regardless of when or where it's at.
What is the matter with Utah? Don't we want a great Unionized economy Like Michigan and Ohio?
JohnC, you've got it right, the unions own BO and his party. That's why BO and the dems are intent on making it easier for unions to intimidate workers into filling out union certification cards rather than letting workers reject unions through secret ballots.
Right to privacy applies only to abortion, not to union certification; or in other words, only when it's convenient for dems and their owners.
Way to Go Wimmer! Thanks for doing this, this is the biggest issue I have seen in years. Thanks
yea why would you want ot be union and make a higher wage. its way better to be one of the most under paid states in the country. The rich leaders who make these laws love it when you go agaist the formation of a union, which is more likely the intent of this bill. Without unions we would still be working 12 hour days six days aweek without overtime. no paid days off. only one holiday a year. that was the way it was only one hundred years ago.
right 12:09, we are not saying you can't or even shouldn't form a union. we're not saying unions have not been a benefit to many.
We are saying you should have the right to choose whether or not to form a union and your choice should be kept confidential. The proposal BO is pushing would let union organizers and employers know who supported or opposed the formation of union, so either or both could employ intimidation tactics.
right 12:09, you are correct that's how it was 100 years ago. Last I checked the need ended since then. All I need to do is look at the U.S. Auto industry to see how much good unions are doing for America. There are so many watchdog organizations out there, I doubt we have to worry about a return to sweatshops or child labor issues in this country anytime soon. With unions, we pay workers for 40 hr weeks whether they work them or not, have retirement benefits choking the economys of several States, and unaffordable cars of questionable quality, because the big 3 can't compete. By all means, unions are the answer because labor conditions are the same as they were in 1930, right?
IF it's so wonderful, why isn't michigan a great utopia and example to us all?
We are a right to work state why do we need to do this? What a waste of taxpayer time.
