National Volleyball Tournament
Warren Van Schalkwyk is part of the Utah Valley 40s men's volleyball team competing for a title in the USA Volleyball National Championships held this weekend at the Salt Palace. The team defeated another Utah team in its first game Friday, Sweet Yams, 25-19, 25-22, to earn a bye for the first round of the double elimination bracket that will determine the over-40 champion.

Kudos to coach Sims and staff for getting them mentally tough. Weber almost pulled another upset. I think they would have if they'd had their legs in the final 3 min stretch.

Too bad Alta was upset. I still can't believe i watched that team lose. Shocked! They were a good team..except they got out coached! This would have been a good game between Bingham and Alta. Feel bad for those kids.

Bingham student section is the funniest ive ever seen they had a fiesta yesterday and who knows what they will show up tomorrow with.... also good job bingham basketball
