This legislative session seems to be very interested and determeined to prevent citizens from practicing thier rights to object to government actions. The UTA, TRAX, League of Cities, etc, are not elected departments of government and have vested interest in this law to procure land and property at whatever value they decide. This bill adds more road blocks for citizens fighting government or private business from confiscating personal property and without fair compensation. Intimidation and threats are widely used in these conflicts to steal private property and this bill only adds another hammer to beat down anyone disagreeing with government. What government spends has nothing to do with the issue, this bill mandates the powers of confiscation without any rebuttal. For the good of the community are laws that poligamist live by.
