Are psychological exams reliable? Or are they just in fact used by the state to get its way with people and declare them unfit or incapacitated.

Twisted lies

The FLDS religion is based on corruption and TOTAL lies. So I am not surprised whatsoever on what this young teenage mother has done.

It figures

The girl did what she was told to do by the cult's leaders.

Gal50

My guess is that some powerful male wants to protect another male and won't let the child be tested. The child is floating around the FLDS. This girl has been told she is too afraid the child will be seized.

Why anyone would show up with a fake child hoping their DNA will not be compared to the child's DNA is simply naive. The group hasn't come across as trustworthy, so of course Texas is going to make sure the girl has the correct child prior to determining the father.

Cats

I'm so sorry for this poor girl. She doesn't have a chance coming from the sick and twisted culture she was raised in. I hope something can be done to help her.

It really doesn't matter if people think the girl was being influnced every person makes there own choice as an individual.everybody is saying ooh this poor girl but in reality she has made her own bed and now the state of texas is making her lie in it.she broke the law and that's the bottom line!!!! so I think the state of texas is in the right and should take all the children and put the adults in prison for there actions there beliefs is all propaganda and needs to be stopped.

duane

Yeah Sure Gal50, this girl originally told the court the baby was out of state. I bet her child is in safe hands and being well taken care by family in Short Creek, Colorado, or Canada. She doesn't want her babies father to be locked away..can't blame her one bit!
She pulled a fast one on Walther. LOL!!! I bet Walther is having a tantrum.

You Go Girl!! A "brainwashed" FLDS mother just made a fool out of Texas LE, she has serious cajones.

Joey

Like what Cats, throw her in prison?

re: duane

This girl didn't make a fool out of Judge Walther; she made a spectacularly bad decision and demonstrated contempt of court, after being given numerous chances by Judge Walther.

And she has provided YET ANOTHER example of FLDS deception and lies. I'd say she deserves whatever she gets from this point on. I am so sick of hearing the FLDS sob-story when it's really all just a bunch of LIES.

soggybread

Just because one person in the community lies about something it doesn't mean that everybody in that community lies about everything they do. If you told a lie, do i go out and tell everybody that all monogomous people are liers and not to be trusted?

re: soggybread

Of course it doesn't mean that. But this just one more example of continued FLDS lying and disrepect for authority and the law. They think they don't have to obey the same laws as everyone else.

K

Put them all in jail, all the kids in foster care. And then do DNA tests. Give the children back to their mother's as long as they live off the compound. Garnish the dad's wages for child support. Liquidate the assets of the group and refund lawyers and CPS for resources spent on this, not to mention returning money to any welfare coffers. The end.

The girl could be a victim. This is just one more proof that they actually live communally. You may not even be living/caring with your own child. Another proof of what the leaders do to control/punish the followers. What's a teenager to do? Walk out with one child while another is somewhere else on the compound under the watchful eye of another true believer?

tigerlily

gal50: the state of texas hasn't been entirely honest with them either

Keep shining the light into these dark places.

tigerlily

twisted lies: what did you expect this girl to do. she know the state would take her baby. being a teen mom isn't a crime. is the state of texas going to evaluate every teen mom in the state?

Cosmo

Re: K; Texas has already done what you said. They kidnapped all the children and women, performed sick medical exam's on them, along with DNA testing. And then the whole mess legally blew up in their faces.
Texas CPS is still trying to hold onto something, no matter how legally weak it may be.
So now the young mother is trying to protect her child, the best way she can, and all those that would gladly murder their own child, are upset that a normal loving mother will not allow the State to steal her child, and sell it into the Foster Care Slave Market.
I suppose most of the poster's would have preferred that Texas had stormed the property, and shot and burned the people, as was done in Waco.

re:Cosmo

"all those that would gladly murder their own child"
And just who is that? You have a very sick imagination!

The FLDS children were NEVER kidnapped. They were investigated becuase the state has a responsiblity determine whether a sick pattern of pervasive child abuse in the name of religious freedom exists at YFZ raunch. You apparently codone by child abuse because you defend the actions of the FLDS and think this investigation is a conspiracy.

Cosmo

Re:re:cosmo; They call it "Abortion", 45 million strong!

Texas never proved any of the salacious accusations in a court of law.

Texas had to release all the children, and the supposed underage mothers, which proved to be a false charge.

And now, I am guilty of all the sins of the world due to my stating facts.

johndallas

Is this all the "Great State of Texas" can come up with after all the hullabaloo and taxpayer money spent?

J-man

Joey, is the whole world wrong and the FLDS are right? Is that your position?
