You only get a 3 point win over CH. That just goes to show you how weak region 1 is. You could only get a 3 point win over the #4 finisher from region 3. At the end of this day there will be only 1 team left from your weak region. Davis will be gone in the second round.

Way to go Davis and Copper Hills, that was a great game you guys played from what I've heard. I'm a Davis High almunus, so I'm glad that Davis won, but Copper Hills is great too! Turns out that seedings don't matter, whoever plays with the most skill and heart moves on. Amen to that!

region 1 is not weak....look how many teams from region 1 are in the playoffs!

There is a reason why region 1 gets so many teams into the playoffs. Thats because they have 8 teams in thier region, all 3 of the other regions only have 6 teams. 5A works on a revolving system. In year 1 region 1 gets 4 teams, region 2 gets 4 teams, region 3 gets 4 teams, and region 4 gets 4 teams. In year 2 region 1 gets 5 teams, region 2 gets 3 teams, region 3 gets 4 teams, region 4 gets 4 teams. In year 3 region 1 gets 5 teams, region 2 gets 4 teams, region 3 gets 3 teams, region 4 gets 4 teams. In year 4 region 1 gets 5 teams, region 2 gets 4 teams, region 3 gets 4 teams, region 4 gets 3 teams. We are in year 4 currently. This system is the same for every sport, for the boys and girls throughout the entire school year. If you go by todays results, region 2 was the weakest, as no team won a game. Region 4 would be the toughest, as all 3 teams won thier games. Region 3 will be 3 of 4. Region 1 will be 2 of 5.

2 out of 5 teams advanced- and Davis squeaked one out. Region 1 is weak. However, not the weakest apparently. Region 4 is by far (3-for-3) the strongest. Last year was last year.

Great job Copper Hills! it was a good game.. Either way you would have lost the next round to PG!!!! just like Davis is going too.. GOOOO VIKINGS!!!!!

Region 3 by far is the toughest region!
West Jordan, Bingham, Riverton, all passed the first round with ease and Copper Hills barely falling out to the top team in Region 1, Hunter could've even beaten a lot of those teams as well.

Davis is by far the best all around school in the state.. sports, acadamics, you name it! as for myself i'm a davis senior and i'll see you all at the game!!!!!!!!!!
