Provo has never won 4 out of 5 but if they win this year they will have won 3 out of 4 four different times and in Lone Peak's run of 4 out of five Provo will have beaten them two of those years. Lone Peak's run is truly note-worthy but it would be more so if they hadn't lost to a team from a lower classification in two of those state championship seasons.

5A FAN

After the first round there will be only 1 team from region 1 and 1 team fron region 4 left. Here are my predictions.
Skyline region 2
Davis region 1
WJ region 3
Brighton region 3

Riverton region 3
Lone Peak region 4
Alta region 2
Bingham region 3

ROUND THREE

Davis
West Jordan

Lone Peak
Bingham

West Jordan and Bingham will meet in the finals. From there it is anyones game to win

Jag Fan

Good Luck Jags. This is our year! Good kids, good coach, good fans. The ball is bouncing our way lately and hopefully it continues until next Saturday night.

RE: 5A fan

sorry but there is no way bingham is going to the finals.

West Jordan is taking it! They are playing great as of late and are sure to have a home court feel no matter who they play cause there fans are incredible!

VIEWMONT will knock out WEST JORDAN in the first roud with an UPSET

AS

Well, there's some excitement in the air starting Monday, whoever plays with the most skill and heart, regardless of the seedings, will move on. That's what makes the playoffs fun, and of course, I'm a Davis High alumnus, so I wish the best of luck to Davis and all the teams playing in the tournament, it's a huge honor to have your school compete in state, because the best memories from that time will be the time that you play on the team or cheering on your team from the sidelines. Let's make the memories happen for you guys, those games will become stories you'll tell to your kids and grandkids one day.

High School Student

Who cares?! Provo would still rock Lone Peak's world if they played again! Go Bulldogs!

To 5A fan:

Keep dreaming.

@ Re:Anonymous

...and I'll give you a bazillion dollars if West Jordan beats Viewmont. Good luck finding me.

RE: 5A FAN

Brighton is not in region 3 they are in region 2.

Radio

Anyone know if the games are on the radio?

LP

LP is peaking at the right time. LP is playing much better now than at the first of the season.

Provo will take the 4A tournament
LP will take the 5A tournament.

Utah county teams will sweep the girls and boys 4A and 5A basketball championship this year.

huh?

by rocking Lone Peak's world, do u mean squeaking out a double OT win at home?

Bulldogsndlittlepeople

Lone Peak plays to be the State's 2nd best. Unless and until Provo ever loses, Lone Peak is not even the best team in Utah County.

what?

Wheres PG in all this? Everyone is underestimating them to a t. LonePeak barly beat them bolth games played. whats the deal?

Upset coming to the E Center

PG is on the road to the 5A title. They just showed Skyline what's up! Since Jan. 1st PG has only lost 2 games, both to LP in close and poorly officiated games. If LP makes it to the finals, they won't be able to hold off PG a third time. CJ Wilcox is the best player in the state that I have seen this season and PG appears to peaking at the right time.

Defense

Good defense never slumps. Teams like Clearfield will win in the first round because it takes awhile for kids to get adjusted to the big stage and their shot generally suffers. Teams that play solid defense win until the later rounds when players have a few games under their belts.
