Good job gals. Play hard.
Good job gals. Play Hard and win state.
Megan Clyde will likely go down as the greatest Hurricane girls player ever. We have enjoyed watching her play over the years. Congrats to the Tigers for making it to the playoffs with an extremely young team.
I keep hearing about all this youth. It seems as if (not just hurricane girls basketball) but most coaches throw in the "youth" comment to the media to make up for their lack of ability in their coaching. I am not discrediting youth but am discrediting how often coaches that can't seem to get it done use it as a crutch. How do the other girls sports at HHS do? I assume most of these same "young" girls play soccer, volleyball, softball, tennis, track etc...
In regards to the youth dialogue, Judge has 5 juniors in their rotation ( including Rosie Neville, a starter who has been out with a knee injury ). Last year they lost in an exciting state championship game to Wasatch with no seniors in the rotation.I never heard their coach use youth as an excuse.
