Isn't it richly ironic that, a couple of electiosn back, the Democrats lambasted Republicans who then controlled House and Senate for funding the so-called "bridge to no-where" up in Alaska. (I know Alaskans who beg to differ that its no-where). Now with the Stimulus money, we, the overburdened taxpayers will now be building hundreds of bridges to everywhere ---and so many in Democratic districts. Their selective indignation is galling. Seems that $64 million is a paltry sum for Utah when the Stimulus price tag was nearly a $1 trillion dollars. I'm not good at math, but that's probably about one fiftieth of one-percent of the Stimulus total.... Money we don't have and have to borrow from the Chinese and that our grand children will have to pay back.
