Very touching story. I had to choke back some tears while looking at those pictures. I felt a deep sense of gratitude that this man, though he probably didn't think about it often, chose to put his life at risk for me and my family (although somewhat indirectly). I hope his kids know when they are older how much I appreciated their Dad, and of course I hope his wife knows also.
How grateful I am that this family will one day be united again! Although there will still be moments where the loss is overwhelming, I hope that brings some comfort at times.
Thank you Michael Alleman.
Thanks for laying down your life (greather love hath no man than this) so we can be safe.
Amy, I'm so very, very proud of you for your wonderful attitude in the face of losing your husband and the love of your life. I wish all families were able to be as respectful.
God bless you and your children always.
Heartwrenching. Greater love hath no man than he lay down his life for those he loves. May we ever be free thanks to men like Michael Alleman. May we always remember the price.
Mr. Alleman was my teacher. He was a great guy. I was so proud when he went to the Army last year. I hope his family is OK. I will miss him but I am proud I got to have him as my teacher. I AM PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN!
May God Bless there family with the things they need. Thanks to them and many other families like them, my family lives in peace and safety.
Thank You All
Sweet Alleman family---
Even though we don't know you, we feel like you are a part of our "family" because like you, my husband is a part of the Military too. Being a part of such an incredible organization is so binding and honorable among Military families. Not only do we understand your feelings of patriotism and the honor in the Mission for peace, but we also understand your feelings of loniliness and challenging experiences during a deployment. My husband was away from me and our four children for a year in Baghdad...returning last June.
My emotions are so tender this morning as I read this article on the loss of your beloved. Our hearts go out to you in the deepest of ways. Our prayers will be with you...that the angels will carry you and your sweet sons.
Thank you Michael for you and your family's great sacrifice. I am weeping for their loss and for Michael not being able to be there to see his boys grow up. God bless the family.
So very sorry to hear of your loss. What an outstanding person, husband, and father he must have been. We need more people with a caring heart and sense of humor.
Please know that you and your family are in many prayers. Find peace in knowing that you will someday be reunited as a family.
for the sacrifices that so may of you make for our freedom. we need brave en and women like you
best wishes. may you continue to feel peace..
May God grant you and your family solace in your time of grief.
Utah has so very few individuals who volunteer to serve in the military. Here was a man who truly thought that serving his country was an honor and a duty. His love for his country was not just worn on his sleeve; he set aside his hopes and plans & put on the uniform in order to uphold our countrys promise of liberty to oppressed people on the other side of the world.
Thank you Michael for your sacrifice. May God bless your family and bring peace, comfort and love into their lives.
thank you.
As a disabled vietnam vet let me say that my heart goes out to you and your family. I grew up in AF and I lost some friends in the Vietnam War. I feel your pain very deeply.
Please accept my deepest condolences.
Your husband was a hero.
My deepest condolences. May God be with you and your family during this trying time. Thank you for your sacrifice.
We love you and can't say enough good about your family, we are forever grayeful for Mike serving all of us, for us, and our children. You are in our prayers, that is so like you to concentrate on the good and think of the good memories. It seems like only yesterday we saw you and he was leaving, we loved the christmas card!!! We love you!!!!
May G-d bless this family now and in the future as they have to make their way without a husband and father.
My G-d also bless our country's leaders so that they may one day bring all of the soldiers home.
Thanks, and I'm sorry.
Thank You for the sacrafice! I wish the choicest blessings on your family and can't thank you enough for your service!
Your sons had a better example of a father in 6 years then most boys get in a lifetime. A Hero and loving Husband and Father. Thank you for your sacrafice. You are in our prayers
My prayers are with this family. I thank this family for the sacrafice they have made. May God bless this family.
Words cannot describe our deepest sympathy. A loving and kind father, husband and military man who young in life served his fellow man with honor and respect. There are so many young couples that struggle with relationships. You have had the love of your life and it will continue in your hearts forever. Prayers are with you and your beautiful sons. You're always in our hearts.
