Amy, I'm so very, very proud of you for your wonderful attitude in the face

Heartwrenching. Greater love hath no man than he lay down his life for those he
loves. May we ever be free thanks to men like Michael Alleman. May we always
remember the price.

Mr. Alleman was my teacher. He was a great guy. I was so proud when he went to
the Army last year. I hope his family is OK. I will miss him but I am proud I
got to have him as my teacher. I AM PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN!

Sweet Alleman family---
Even though we don't know you, we feel like you are a part of our "family" because like you, my husband is a part of the Military too. Being a part of such an incredible organization is so binding and honorable among Military families. Not only do we understand your feelings of patriotism and the honor in the Mission for peace, but we also understand your feelings of loniliness and challenging experiences during a deployment. My husband was away from me and our four children for a year in Baghdad...returning last June.
My emotions are so tender this morning as I read this article on the loss of your beloved. Our hearts go out to you in the deepest of ways. Our prayers will be with you...that the angels will carry you and your sweet sons.

Utah has so very few individuals who volunteer to serve in the military. Here was a man who truly thought that serving his country was an honor and a duty. His love for his country was not just worn on his sleeve; he set aside his hopes and plans & put on the uniform in order to uphold our countrys promise of liberty to oppressed people on the other side of the world.

As a disabled vietnam vet let me say that my heart goes out to you and your
family. I grew up in AF and I lost some friends in the Vietnam War. I feel
your pain very deeply.

grayeful for Mike serving all of us, for us, and our children. You are in our
prayers, that is so like you to concentrate on the good and think of the good

Words cannot describe our deepest sympathy. A loving and kind father, husband
and military man who young in life served his fellow man with honor and respect.
There are so many young couples that struggle with relationships. You have had

I was there on the ground with him. He died a man's death in the face of

I sit here with tears streaming down my cheeks, overwhelmed by the loss of such
a strong American soldier, and the feelings only a wife could have toward her
husband. I am amazed by th duty Michael and Amy felt for their country--for the
people of this country--for me and my family.

I was at the school your husband taught at. H was a great teacher and person.
I remember when He spoke of going to serve for our country. He was very happy
and ready. He loved His Wife and two boys. Our prayers are with you.

He was made of different material than I am, I wouldn't have left a
teaching job, and my family and volunteered to go to war. He was a brave person
and I offer my condolences to the family.

At the risk of sounding uncaring at such a tragic and terrible time, one has to
ask the question, "When will this end?" My heart goes out to this
young family who are going through what no family should ever go through. That
said, this fine husband and father certainly was a hero. When all is said and
done though these kids will grow up without a father and this mother without her
husband.
I pray that an end will come to this war so that no more lives will be disrupted - be they American, Iraqi or whatever.

US soldiers - wow - what patriots and hero's they are. While the rest of the country debates the correctness of the war they stand firm and suffer mud, sweat and sometimes even death and simply serve their country AND the people of Iraq. Micheal Alleman was and is a hero. The Alleman family are great Americans and their sacrifice will not be in vain. May the Lord bless this family.

As a retire Army soldier, I truly understand you feeling and understand what you
husband stood for and what he did for this great country! He laydown his life
for us to celebrate and enjoy our freedom! I am so sorry for your lose, but

As a father of a soldier, I mourn the loss of your husband/son/brother this day.
I dread the possibility that someday this news may come to me but I also know if
that day shall come, as you have, I will stand proud! I am brought to tears
every time I see my son stand at attention and salute the American flag. As you
know, they are a special kind of person, full of honor and integrity and I thank

My dad was an Air Force Fighter Pilot and I was 4 when my mom had the same visit
to her front door! Amazing how this article brought back a flood of memories.

I have 2 little girls myself, and I can't imagine leaving them. The men and

How grateful I am that this family will one day be united again! Although there will still be moments where the loss is overwhelming, I hope that brings some comfort at times.
