Great job girls! Keep up the intensity and teamwork.
You guys were awesome tonight! :) -Pony-
That was probably the best first half of basketball I have ever seen a high school girls basketball team play. If the Devil's play like that throughout the rest of the week, they will be untouchable! However, if they complacent, for even a half a quarter, they could lose it all! Go Devils! Don't let up for one second!
If that is the best basketball you have ever seen a high school girl's team play, you have not seen anyone other than your team in region. If you would have seen Riverton play Springville, you would have seen how they destroyed the Red Devils.
Not taking anything away from SHS, but they must put a complete game together. West is probably the worst team in the state tournament. Anyone would have looked good against them
Look for Roy to get revenge against Springville, this time with their best player.
Springville has their work cut out tomorrow.
Now I didn't say anything bad so don't come on here and start whinning you Springville parents.
What makes you think anyone cares what you think? As a West High parent, I was disappointed that the girls came out so flat and maybe a little nervous about playing a 1 seed. But to say they are probably the worst team in the tournament is saying something bad. Keep your arrogant opinions to yourself. Our girls earned their spot in the tournament and they came and played and we are proud of them. Springville deserved the win. They played a great game.
Good luck to Springville the rest of the way.
Nice start, ladies! Ignore the nay-sayers and keep up the intensity. You looked great last night. Stay focused and play as a team. We are proud of you!
They will have their work cut out for them 'Dear Best Basketball'? Yes, Roy was missing two of their best players the last time they met, but even two of your best players don't make up a 40 point differential. When you lose by 40, two players aren't going to make too much of an impact. I can see maybe closing that gap by 20 or even best case 30 points, but 40? Good luck trying to explain how they'll be able to do that. You should have said Roy will have their work cut out for them. This doesn't mean Springville can come out flat and coast to a victory, it means that as long as Springville plays their A game and keeps up their intensity, they should beat Roy.
Also if you look at the stat sheet they did have there best player number 23 Springville held her to 1 point that game so i don't know what game you were watching.
"they have their work cut out for them?" lol they just beat roy by 20 points! haha try again next year "Dear Best Basketball!" :) The whole thing is hilarious you must admit.
